Thomas Cronin, Lakeview, Bailieborough, Co Cavan died on the 12th January 2025 peacefully at the Mater Hospital Dublin. Predeceased by his parents Margaret and Henry and brothers Bertie and Paddy.

Deeply regretted by his sisters Florrie McCabe​​​​​ and Maureen O'Hanlon, nephews Wayne and Glenn, niece Tonya, sister-in-law Eileen, brother-in-law ​​Tommy, relatives and friends.

Hugh Collins, Drumconnick, Cavan and formerly Nottingham, England and Aghyaran Co.Tyrone, Saturday January 11th 2025, peacefully after bravely fighting a long illness.

Predeceased by his parents Hugh and Ellen (Nellie) Collins, his brothers James Patrick, John and Mick, sisters Peggy and Sally and his nephews Mark, Lee and James.

Hugh will be very sadly missed by his brother Gerry and sister in law Helena, his sisters Mary, Christina, Eileen and Agnes. Also by all his nieces, nephews and the extended Collins family. May he rest in peace.

Reposing at the Mc Mahon Funeral Home , Farnham Rd , Cavan (H12C821) on Tuesday evening from 5pm until 7pm. Funeral Mass in the Cathedral of S.s Patrick and Felim, Cavan on Wednesday at 12 noon followed by burial in Cullies Cemetery.

Family flowers only please, donations in lieu if you so wish to the Palliative Care Unit, Cavan General Hospital.

Bridget Donohoe (née Smith, Toher, Crosskeys), Drumnaveigh, New Inns, Ballyjamesduff, Co. Cavan. Passed peacefully at her residence surrounded by her loving family on Sunday 12th January.

Predeceased by her infant daughter, her parents James and Maryann, her sister Peggy and brothers Paddy, Benny, Tom, Michael and Jim. Sadly missed by her beloved husband Packie and much loved mother of Marianne (Martin), Breege, Josephine, Kathleen (Jerome) and Thomas (Diane), her adored grandchildren Christopher (Eve), Cillian (Amy), Conor, Kiera, Dylan, Aoibheann, Oran, Leah, Mark, Louise (Paul), great granddaughter Holly, her brother Philip, her sisters Kathleen and Anne, sisters in law, Kathleen, Gertie and Peggy, nieces and nephews, neighbors and many friends.

(H12 RF78) on Monday 13th of January from 5:30pm to 7:30pm. Requiem Mass on Tuesday at 12 noon in St. Dympna's Church, Upper Lavey with burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.

Retired member of staff Virginia Vocational School and former national President of Down Syndrome Ireland.

Peacefully, surrounded by his loving family at University Hospital, Tallaght. Predeceased by his siblings William, Brendan and Marie.

Deeply regretted and sadly missed by Jean and his children, Joseph (Maria), Anthony (Ann), Naomi Reeve (David) and Eileen. Ann will be very sadly missed by her heartbroken Partner Michael Donohoe, her adored children Catriona, Aaron and Orlaith and Aoife, her father Barney, sister Michelle Boylan (Noel) nieces, nephews, all her relatives and many friends.

Ann will repose at the McMahon Funeral Home, Farnham Road, Cavan, H12 C821, on Monday evening from 5pm until 7pm. Removal from the Funeral Home on Tuesday morning to St. Felim’s Church, Ballinagh for Funeral Mass at 11am. Following Mass, burial will take place in the family plot in the adjoining cemetery.

Donald Francis Lynch, born 3rd of March 1936, of Corracarrow, Ballyjamesduff.

Donald passed away peacefully at Cavan General Hospital on Saturday 11th of January 2025. Predeceased by his parents, John and Mollie Lynch, brothers Hugh, Patsy and sister Laura. Donald is survived by his sister Carmel Lynch-McCarthy (New York) and his sister-in-law Sheilia Lynch. Donald was very close with his two nieces Helen Marie Dempsey of PA and Carmel Marie Bowron of CT. Donald is also survived by his other nieces, nephews, cousins and many grand nieces and nephews.

Predeceased by her husband Michael, parents Rose and Terry Mc Donald.

Phyllis died peacefully but suddenly on Saturday 11th January 2025 at Cavan General Hospital, surrounded by her loving family in her 93rd year.

Predeceased by her husband James sister Mary, brothers Peter, James and Tommy. Sadly missed by her loving daughter Breda (Francis) son James (Angela) sister in law Ann, grandchildren Niamh (Darren), Tomás (Jessica), Jamie, Aoife and Oí​​​​​sin. nephews, nieces, relatives, neighbours and friends.

Seamus’s funeral cortège will travel from the family home on Wednesday morning at 10.30am to arrive at The Most Holy Rosary Church, Tullycorbet, for funeral Mass at 11am, followed by burial in the adjoining cemetery.

Anne passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on Friday evening. Anne will be missed by her loving husband Peter, sons Shane, Stephen and Brian, daughters Sinéad and Grace. Anne was predeceased by her father John and mother Anne Mc Cabe Brackla Cootehill Co Cavan, her sister Nora and brother Gerard. Anne will be remembered fondly by her Daughters in law Ciara Driver, Ciara Mc Phillips, Niamh Driver and her Son in law Nicholas Lane, her loving grandchildren Darragh, Megan, Ava, Jack and Sadie, her brothers, sisters and extended family and friends.

Anne will repose at the family home at Limegrove on Saturday 11th from 5pm to 8pm and Sunday 12th from 3pm to 8pm .
