Health and Wellbeing supports board visit BJD
Teach Solais, Ballyjamesduff, hosted the launch of Cavan Health and Wellbeing Supports Boards in Ballyjamesduff recently.
Thirteen Health and Wellbeing Supports Boards have been erected across 12 locations in County Cavan including Ballyjamesduff Market Square and Bounceback Youth Service Ballyjamesduff.
The boards feature the Five Ways to Wellbeing and also signpost services and supports available.
The QR code on the board brings you to the Wellbeing Supports Page hosted by Healthy Cavan at Cavan County Council. Please view the page and share this link to promote awareness: Wellbeing Supports - Cavan County Council (cavancoco.ie)
The initiative is spreading as every local GAA club in County Cavan received their Health and Wellbeing Supports Board in early 2024. The boards have been co-produced by Mental Health Ireland, HSE, Connecting for Life Cavan Monaghan, Cavan GAA, Cavan County Council, Cavan Library, Healthy Cavan, Cavan Sports Partnership and CYPSC Cavan to remind people of the ways we can look after and improve our wellbeing and also remind us all that support is available.
The board also featured on Farm TV at Ballyjamesduff Livestock Mart for November and December.
