Fuel station reopens after emergency incident

Multiple units of Cavan Fire Services called to the scene.

A Cavan Town petrol station has reopened to the public following an emergency clean up incident earlier today.

Emergency services and fuel clean-up experts were called to treat a fuel spill at the Circle K site on the Dublin Road.

The incident happened earlier this morning, and the station only reopened this evening.

A spokesperson confirmed to the Celt: “The clean-up process is now complete, and the store is back open for customers.”
