Gerard Cahill, Poleragh, Kilnaleck, Co. Cavan, Monday, January 6th, (peacefully) at Cavan Genral Hospital, surrounded by his loving family. Sadly missed by his devoted parents Donal & Nora May, brother Brendan (Alison), nephews Bailie & Morgan, uncles, aunts, cousins, relatives, friends and neighbours.

Funeral Mass in St. Joseph's Church, Drumkilly on Friday (10th) at 12 noon. Burial afterwards in adjoining cemetery. Family homes strictly private at all times please. Family flowers only please, donations in memory of Gerard if desired to Intensive Care Unit, Cavan General Hospital c/o Briody's Funeral Home, Kilnaleck.

Predeceased by her husband John, twin Sister Teresa, Brothers and Sisters. Deeply regretted and sadly missed by her loving family, Sons John, Vincent and Leo, Daughters Andrea, Eilish and Blaithin, Son-in-law Darshan Wariabharaj, Daughters-in-law Jennifer and Kristan, Grandchildren Erin, Dylan, Liam, Aidan and Kiera, Brother John, Sisters-in-law Phyllis and Anna Brady, Nephews, Nieces, relatives, Neighbours and a large circle of friends.

Reposing at Mullen’s Funeral Home, Cootehill (H16 FD25) this Thursday evening, January 9th from 5pm to 7pm. Removal leaving Mullen’s Funeral Home on Friday morning January 10th at 10:30am to arrive at St. Michael’s Church, Cootehill for 11 o’clock Funeral Mass, followed by burial afterwards in St. Michael’s cemetery. Geraldine Greene

Dowra, Cavan

Geraldine Greene left us peacefully on January 7th in the loving embrace of her family.

Predeceased by her father Brendan, mother Róisín, and brother Dermot.

Ger is loved and much missed by her daughters Fiona and Ciara, brother Terry, sister-in-law Róisín, nephews and nieces Kris, Cúán, Somhairle, Tuathla and Daniel, cousin Sheila, and best friend Louise. Ger's family also wish to express their gratitude to her many wonderful friends and neighbours, knowing that her memory will be forever cherished.

A celebration of Geraldine's life will be held on Saturday, 11th of January at 2:00PM in Pure Reflections Resomarium, Abbeylands, Navan, Co. Meath, C15 X9FK followed by a Private Resomation.

Paddy Mc Namara

Granard Post Office Main St., Granard, Longford / Cavan

Formerly of Creighan, Cavan, 7th January 2025 passed away suddenly but peacefully, surrounded by his loving family, under the wonderful care of the Nurses and Staff at Thormond Lodge Nursing Home, Ballymahon.

Predeceased by his father and mother James and Margaret Mc Namara and younger brother Tom.

Beloved husband of Kay, much loved father of Adrian, Finbarr, Padraig, Derek, Ronan, and Fergal, adored grandfather of 19 grandchildren. Cherished brother of Chris (California), Margaret, Jimmy, Joseph, and Josephine.

Paddy will be sadly missed by his loving wife, sons, grandchildren, daughters-in-law, brothers, sisters, brothers -in-law, sister-in-law, nephews, nieces, relatives and friends.

Reposing at his son Padraig's home, Robinstown, Granard, Co. Longford N39CF78 on Friday 10th from 2pm to 8pm.

Removal from Robinstown on Saturday the 11th to St Mary's Church, Granard, Co. Longford for Funeral Mass at 11am followed by Christian burial in Granardkill new cemetery.

House strictly private outside of reposing times please.

A one way system will be in operation, please enter from the Granard side and exit from the Abbeylara / Killasonna side.

Dan Mel Reilly

Dan Mel died peacefully at Cavan General Hospital, surrounded by his loving family on Wednesday 8th January 2025 aged 93 years.

Predeceased by his parent's Daniel and Rose Anne, sister Christine and nephew Finbarr

Sadly missed by his loving wife Ena, sons Danny (Tracey), Conleth (Leanne) and daughter Maggie (Michael), sister Rosemary (Mullinaghta), Rita (Abbeylara), Tess (Galway), and Philis (Creighan, Cavan), grandchildren Michaela, Caolan, Emmett, Kate, Daniel, Diarmuid, Hannah, Daire, Lauren, Ultan, and Sadie, brother in law, sisters in law, nephews, nieces, relatives, neighbours and a large circle of friends.

Reposing at Reilly's Funeral home Kilcogy (N39W1D6) on Thursday from 5pm with prayers at 8pm. Funeral mass on Friday at 12 noon in Our Lady of Lourdes Church, Mullahoran(N39HN84).

Internment afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.

The death has occurred of Annie Gavin nee McKenna, 66 Ballyruddery Wood, Balrothery, Dublin, K32 WN90 and formerly Dernalossett, Emyvale, Co.Monaghan. Wednesday 8th January peacefully in her sleep after a long illness at Moorehall Lodge Nursing Home surrounded by her loving family.

Annie is predeceased by her beloved husband Liam, brothers Tommy & Patsy and sister Rita.

Annie will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her children; Catherine, Anne, Sean, Ruth, Brian, Elizabeth, Richard & Mary, daughters in law Ainsley, Sinead & Carol, sons in law Albert & Mark, 18 grandchildren, sisters Mary McCooey, Dympna Ashe, brothers Jimmy & Mick McKenna, extended family and friends.

May her gentle soul Rest in Peace

Annie's remains will repose at her home on Wednesday (8th) from 7pm until removal on Friday (10th) to arrive at St.Peter and Paul's Church, Balbriggan at 1.30pm. Burial afterwards alongside her beloved husband Liam at St.Patrick's Cemetery, Corracrin, Emyvale, Co.Monaghan.
