Larry Comiskey

Omard, Kilnaleck, Cavan

Larry Comiskey, Omard, Kilnaleck, Co. Cavan. Sunday, January 5th (peacefully) at Virginia Primary Care Centre. Predeceased by his parents James & Roseanne, brother Eugene and sisters Rosaleen (Glennon) & Maureen (Leddy). Sadly missed by his brothers Jim & Patsy, brother-in-law Paddy Glennon, nephews, nieces, relatives, friends and neighbours.

Rest In Peace.

Reposing at Briody's Funeral Home, Kilnaleck on Monday (6th) from 6pm to 8pm. Removal on Tuesday (7th) from his nephew Padraig's residence in Omard to St. Mary's Church, Ballynarry arriving for Funeral Mass at 12 noon. Burial afterwards in the adjoining Cemetery. Family flowers only please, donations in lieu to the Patient Comfort Fund at Virginia Primary Care Centre c/o Briody's Funeral Home.

(née Brewster)

Barrack Road, Kilnaleck, Cavan

Shirley Cumiskey, (née Brewster), Barrack Road, Kilnaleck, Co. Cavan and formerly of Barratts Road, Kings, Norton, Birmingham, UK. Saturday, January 4th, peacefully at Cavan General Hospital. Predeceased by her loving husband Tom and stepson Michael. Shirley will be missed by all who knew her.

Oakview Nursing Home, Belturbet and late of Corraghoe, Stradone, Cavan

Peacefully at Cavan General Hospital. Predeceased by her parents Larry and Susan, brothers Michael and Ned, sisters Kathleen and Susan.

Deeply regretted by her loving daughter Orla, son Vernon, her precious grandchildren Joshua, Carys, Aaron, Caitlin, Aoife and Ciara. Sadly missed by her brothers Paddy, Ollie and Jimmy, sister Ann, son-in-law Gerard, daughter-in-law Ann, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

Reposing at McMahon Funeral Home, Farnham Road, Cavan tomorrow Monday from 6pm - 8pm. Removal on Tuesday to arrive at St. Dympna’s Church, Lower Lavey for Funeral Mass at 11am, followed by burial in Cullies Cemetery.

Dympna Boylan

(née Flanagan)

25 Dunard, formerly Monagirr, Donaghmoyne, Inniskeen, Monaghan

The death has occurred of Dympna Boylan, 25 Dunard Inniskeen and formerly of Monagirr Donaghmoyne on 4th January in the wonderful care of Le Chéile, Moorehall Nursing Home Ardee.

Predeceased by her husband John, parents Owen and Annie Flanagan, brothers and sisters. Sadly missed and remembered with love by her sister Philomena (Derby, England), nieces and nephews, relatives and friends.

DYMPNA will repose at Magee funeral home A91 HY72 FROM 4PM UNTIL 8PM WEDNESDAY 8TH REMOVAL THURSDAY 9TH VIA DUNARD TO THE CHURCH OF MARY MOTHER OF MERCY INNISKEEN ARRIVING FOR 11 AM FUNERAL MASS BURIAL AFTERWARDS IN ST MARY'S CEMETERY.

The family would like to express their sincere gratitude to all the staff in Le Chéile Moorehall Nursing Home, Ardee for the exceptional care and kindness shown to Dympna during her time with them.

The family would like to thank you for your sympathy and support at this difficult time.

Drumboat, Inniskeen, Monaghan, A91 D450 / Inniskeen, Louth

The death has occurred of Elizabeth (Bella) Jones (née Meegan), Drumboat, Inniskeen, Co. Monaghan. Bella passed away peacefully Sunday 5th January 2025, at home surrounded by her loving family, following a long illness borne with great dignity and strength.

Cherished wife of the late Peter (Petie) and predeceased by daughter Ann, parents James and Mary-Ellen, brother Petie, sisters Rose McArdle, Molly McGinnity and Anna Quigley. Sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her sons Eamon, Peader, Dermot and daughters Marie (McKevitt), Linda (Jones Cowley). Sons-in-law Noel, Shane and daughters-in-law Marian, Ailish and Pauline. Her brother Tommy and dear sister Teresa McEnteggart, sisters-in-law Kitty and Crissie, her adored 19 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, extended family, neighbours and friends.

Reposing at her residence from Monday 6th of January, 1pm to 10pm and on Tuesday 7th of January, from 1pm to 9pm. Removal from residence at 10.30am, Wednesday 8th of January arriving for 11am Requiem Mass in Mary Mother of Mercy Church, Inniskeen. Burial afterwards in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Inniskeen.

Sacred heart of Jesus, pray for her.
