It is with regret that we note the following deaths from Counties Cavan and Monaghan over the past few days, as reported on RIP.ie

Felix Harten

Carnagh Upper, Kilcogy, Cavan

Felix Harten, Birmingham, England and formerly Carnagh Upper, Kilcogy, Co. Cavan. Sunday 15th December 2024 peacefully at his home in the loving care of his family. Predeceased by his parents Felix and Rose his beloved son Colin sisters Kathleen and Eithne and brother Benny.

Sadly missed by his loving wife Elizabeth sons Phelim (Linda) Thomas (Nicola) Dermot (Franchesca) daughter Mary (Andrew) grandchildren Freddy, Felix and Lizabella, brothers Paddy (Carnagh), James (Navan), sisters and brothers in law, nephews, nieces relatives and a large circle of friends.

May he rest in peace.

Knockmore, Corlough, Cavan

Suddenly at his residence.

Predeceased by his parents, Hugh & Molly, and infant brother John Charles.

Eamonn will be sadly missed by his loving brother Hugh (Mary), sisters Josie, Kathleen & Maureen (Gene), his nieces Mary, Ann Marie, Katrina & Marie, his nephews Michael, Tony, Patrick & Eoghan, his grandnieces & grandnephews, all his relatives and a wide circle of friends.

Catherine Lauterpacht

(née Daly)

Keady, Armagh / Castleblayney, Monaghan

Lauterpacht (nee Daly) Cambridge and formerly Clay Road Keady, Dec 11th 2024 peacefully in Addenbrooks Hospital Cambridge, Catherine RIP. Beloved wife of the late Sir Eli and devoted mother to Conan, Micheal, Gabriel and Deborah. Loving sister of Mary (Boyd) and Kevin.

Her remains will arrive at St Patrick's Church Keady on today Tuesday (17/12/24) at 6pm for overnight repose in the presence of the Blessed Sacrament. Funeral Mass on Wednesday (18/12/24) at 11am with burial afterwards in the Church cemetery along side her beloved parents.

Deeply regretted by her loving sons, daughters, grandchildren, sister, brother and the entire family circle in England and in Keady.

On her gentle soul sweet Jesus have mercy.
