Santa's message to children in Cavan
There was great excitement yesterday as the 430 students at St Clare's National School got to meet Santa Claus.
While he was allowing his reindeers a break ahead of Christmas eve, Santa thoroughly enjoyed his spin in the Garda helicopter.
While speaking to The Anglo-Celt, Santa had the following important message he wanted to share with the boys and girls in Cavan:
"There was a few people here, a few children that I've met so far today that hasn't written to Santa Claus and what I say to them is go home and as soon as you can get that letter written because I don't know what you're looking for if you don't write to me and tell me."
Santa Claus assured that he will be back on December 24 to deliver gifts all around the Breifne county.
"In any event I will be back on the night of the 24th to give you all your presents and I wish you all a very merry and happy Christmas."
