Twilight Christmas market

The Cottage Market Cavan is set to host a Twilight Christmas Market at the Cavan Townhall Arts Centre next week!

The news, which comes as a silver lining, follows the disappointment of having to cancel the markets last weekend due to the threat of Storm Darragh.

This reimagined event (Wednesday-Thursday, December 18-19, from 4-9pm) promises a more intimate, creative, and heart-warming celebration—perfect for connecting with the community and embracing the festive spirit.

This market showcases artisan foods, handcrafted gifts, children’s activities and twilight tunes by Cavan’s incredible food producers, artists, crafters, and performers.

With the worry of Orange and then Yellow status weather warnings, organisers had considered holding a one-day market on Sunday but decided to call it off completely.
