Taking care of your dental needs
Ballyconnell Dental Practice is available over the Christmas period to help with any dental emergencies.
“If you have any emergencies over Christmas, we’ll have an out of hours on the phone, they can always get a dentist even if it’s just a prescription until we’re back open,” she assured.
Amber encourages patients to “keep up with your routine appointments” when asked for advice when taking care of dental care needs.
Now five years working in the practice, Amber reported that Ballyconnell Dental Practice is continuing to grow after welcoming a large number of new patients as well as treating existing patients this year.
As well as new patients coming through the door, they have also expanded their team welcoming local girl Dr Joanne O Malley. Joanne has a “keen interest” in Orthodontics and composite bonding as well as all other aspects of dentistry.
They also have a second hygienist in Rosaleen McPadden who “again is local and works alongside our present hygienist, Kathleen Heaslip.”
Dr Aiden Malanaphy carries out surgical work and implants weekly as well as all other aspects of dentistry, while Dr Roisin Mccorry is offering more hours to her “already busy schedule” but is still “very much enjoying” seeing her existing patients.
Meanwhile Dr Laura Connolly has continued to win over the hearts of patients with her gentle nature and excellent skills.
Christmas opening hours
The practice will be open until 1pm on December 23 and will open on December 27 and December 30 from 9am until 1pm for routine and emergency appointments.
“We find these appointments suit people who live away and are home for Christmas and need to get some treatments done or also people who are off work,” Amber said.
They will resume their normal working schedule from January 2; 9am-4.30pm on Thursday and 9am to 5pm Monday to Friday. Their practice in Derrylin is open on Saturdays.
“We would like to take this opportunity to thank all our patients for their continued support and wish you all a happy and healthy Christmas,” Amber concluded.
