Virginia gears up for annual Christmas Craft Fair
The annual Virginia Christmas food and craft fair takes place at the Virginia Show Centre on Saturday, December 7, from 12-4pm.
Manager of the Virginia Show Centre, Anna Reece-Murphy, says this year’s event is “over-subscribed” with vendors, such is the level of interest from local businesses and crafters in the community to take part.
“It’s wonderful to see,” she says, praising the wealth and depth of creative talent out there in the community.
Over 60 local artisans, makers, and food vendors will pack the centre and its exhibition hall, with visitors able to browse a variety of handmade gifts, from ornaments and jewellery and knitted scarves, perfect for seasonal giving.
Twinkling lights create a warm, joyful atmosphere, and there will be family fun events, with face painting and an opportunity for younger visitors to find the cheeky elves who’ve escaped from the North Pole and are busily causing mischief at the Christmas fair.
