Reposing at Lakelands Funeral Home, Dublin Road Cavan today Sunday from 4.30pm until 6.00pm. Requiem Mass tomorrow Monday at 11.00am in the Cathedral of SS Patrick and Felim, Cavan, followed by cremation at Lakelands Crematorium, Dublin Road, Cavan

Jacqueline (Jacky) Mc Dowell (nee Kelley) Church Street, Killeshandra, Co. Cavan H12V674, Saturday November 02nd 2024, peacefully at Esker Lodge, Nursing Home, Cavan. Predeceased by her husband, Jim, loving mother of Alex, Yvonne (Stephen), Robbie (Majella), Alison (Joel). Remembered with love by her sons, daughters, grandchildren, Daniel, Chloe, Jonathan and Sarah, daughter in law, sons in law, brother, sister-in-law, nephews, nieces, extended family, neighbours, and good friends.

Resting at the family home on Monday 4th from 2pm until 7pm. House private at all other times please. Removal from the family home on Tuesday at 1.15pm arriving at St. Fethlimidh`s Cathedral, Kilmore, for funeral service at 2pm, followed by committal and burial in Kilmore Cathedral Parish Graveyard. Family flowers only please. Donations in lieu if so desired to Lisdarn unit for the elderly c\o William Foster, funeral director, Ricehill, Crossdoney, Cavan.

The death has occurred of Bridget (Bridgie) McEnaney, née McGahan, Lecks Shercock, Co. Cavan and formerly of Lisagoan, Kingscourt, Co. Cavan, peacefully and surrounded by her family at Cavan General Hospital, 1st November 2024.

Predeceased by her husband Tommy and infant sons Peter and Richard. Cherished mother of Tom (Roisin), Mary, Breda (Tim), Sean (Rachael), Padraigh (Sabrina), Roisin (Luke), Joseph (Triona) and Mairead (Barry). Bridgie will be deeply missed by her brother John, sisters Rosie and Elizabeth, and her companion Tom Boyle.

Fondly remembered by her adored grandchildren: Lee, Killian, Alanna, Joshua, Adrianna, Misha, Niamh, Sarah, Eoin, Lucas, Sophie, Shauna, Chloe, Rosie, Jamie, Daniel, and Bonnie. She will be sadly missed by her extended family, nieces, nephews, neighbours, relatives and friends.

Funeral Mass on Tuesday, 5th November at 10 am in the Church of the Immaculate Conception, Kingscourt with burial in the adjoining cemetery.

John Timmins, Killylea, Belturbet and Oak View Nursing Home, Belturbet, Co. Cavan. Predeceased by his wife Maggie, sons Michael & Tom and great grand-daughter Ailís, peacefully surrounded by his loving family and wonderful staff at Oak View Nursing Home on 2nd November 2024.

Deeply regretted and sadly missed by his daughters Mary (Buckley), Geraldine (Henry) and son Joe, sons-in-law Tim and Michael, daughter-in-law Moira, grandchildren, great grandchildren, nephews, nieces, relatives, neighbours and friends.

John will be reposing at Lawlor’s Funeral Home, Ernehill, Belturbet, (H14 R583) on Monday evening 4th November 2024 from 6pm until evening prayers at 8pm. John will leave Lawlor’s Funeral Home on Tuesday morning at 10.30am to arrive at the Church of the Immaculate Conception, Belturbet, for funeral mass at 11am followed by burial in Drumalee cemetery.

The death has occurred of Brendan (Cub) Duffy, Tullynahinera, Castleblayney, Co. Monaghan.

Friday 1st November peacefully in Oakwood Nursing Home, St. Margaret’s , Dublin.

Sadly missed by his sons Tommy and Gavin, daughters Brenda, Catherine and Grainne, brothers and sisters, nieces, nephews, relatives, extended family, neighbours and friends.

A private cremation will take place for Brendan on Monday the 4th November in Lakelands Crematorium at 4pm.

The death has occurred of Catherine Kennedy (nee McDonald). 'Craighlea', Shirley House Lane, Carrickmacross & formerly Main Street, Clogherhead, Co. Louth. 2nd November 2024. Peacefully, surrounded by her cherished family, in the wonderful care of the staff at Sunhill Nursing Home, Termonfeckin.

Predeceased by her parents Jim & Margaret and her sisters Mary Mitchell & Bridie Coleman.

Sadly missed and remembered with love by her beloved family; her husband Sean T, her sons John, Brian & Kevin, her daughters-in-law Claudine & Hazel and Brian's partner Shirley, her much-loved grandchildren Bláithín, Sadhbh, Éabha, Scott, Alanna, Kyanna, Jack & Hugo, her sister-in-law Mary O'Doherty and her brother-in-law Patsy Coleman, her nephews, nieces, relatives, friends and neighbours.

Catherine's funeral cortège will leave her home, 'Craighlea', on Monday, 4th November, proceeding on foot via the Bridewell, Main Street, to St. Joseph's Church, Carrickmacross, A81 K253, arriving for Funeral Mass at 11am followed by burial in St. Denis' Cemetery, Clogherhead, proceeding on foot from 'Seantobar', through Clogherhead village.
