Mullen's Funeral Home - a compassionate family business

For nearly four decades, Mullen’s Funeral Home has supported the bereaved of Co Cavan with an excellent and sympathic service.

The well-known family-run business was established in 1986 when Brian and Kieran first began providing their funeral undertaking services to local families at a difficult time.

Brian passed away in 2006 and Kieran died in September 2023, but the business they built together lives on.

The undertakers is now being run by Brian’s wife Sheila and their children Niamh and Mark.

Dominic Moore and Rory Halton are also part of the Mullen’s Funeral Home business.

Together, the team covers Cootehill and its environs, as well as parts of Co Monaghan.

The family-run business places an emphasis on providing a professional and personal service to families of the recently deceased.

They also own their own hearse, which is upgraded every seven years.

Mullen's Funeral Home employs its own registered gravedigger and that person is tasked with taking care of the grave for the first four weeks after burial, and right up to the month’s mind mass.
