Showers continue with temperatures set to dip tonight

Rain and moderate winds expected on bank holiday Sunday.

The next couple of days will see showers to the fore as the bank holiday weekend continues.

Today, Sunday will see cloud increase during the morning and outbreaks of rain will develop in the west. The rain will move east during the afternoon and evening and will be heaviest in the west and northwest. Parts of the southeast will stay dry until evening. Highest temperatures of 11 to 14 degrees with moderate south to southwest winds developing.

It will become cloudy with scattered outbreaks of rain throughout the night with lowest temperatures of 9 to 13 degrees in light to moderate southwesterly winds.

On Monday, outbreaks of rain will gradually clear southeastwards during the morning and it will be drier but rather cloudy for the afternoon and evening. Highest temperatures of 13 to 16 degrees with light to moderate westerly winds.

It will be cloudy and mostly dry with patches of drizzle, mist and fog tonight. Lowest temperatures of 8 to 11 degrees with light west to northwest or variable winds.
