Largely dry, fresh day but cloudy later

Largely dry this morning but perhaps a little cloudy. Some early spells of sunshine will be limited as more cloud builds later. Southerly breezes will freshen a little this afternoon with highest temperatures of 12 to 15 degrees.

A cloudy and rather mild evening. A few spots of mist and drizzle will develop later in the night but most areas will remain dry. Lowest temperatures of 10 to 13 degrees with moderate and gusty southerly winds.

Very cloudy tomorrow with outbreaks of light rain or drizzle from early on. Rain will develop later the morning and will become more widespread through the afternoon and evening. Highest temperatures of 12 to 16 degrees in southerly breezes.

Very wet over night on Thursday - unsettled with widespread rain, heavy at times too. The rain will gradually clear from the west and north later in the night however. Light southerly breezes turning northwesterly with lowest temperatures of 5 to 8 degrees.

Staying cloudy and rather unsettled on Friday with widespread rain. The rain will be heavy at times in the east and south but will clear from the west by the afternoon. However, most areas will stay cloudy. Highest temperatures of 8 to 12 degrees in moderate to fresh northwesterly breezes.

Rather cloudy with outbreaks of rain and drizzle overnight on Friday but it should gradually clear away from northern areas early in the night. Moderate to fresh northwesterly winds and lowest temperatures of 5 to 8 degrees.

A cloudy start to Saturday with a few isolated showers mainly over the northern half of the country. A band of rain will move in from the west later in the evening but it will stay mostly dry in the south. Highest temperatures of 11 to 14 degrees.

Current model indications are for another unsettled day on Sunday with outbreaks of rain and highest temperatures of 13 to 15 degrees.
