Aidan Smith

Aidan Smith, Duffcastle, Crosserlough, Co. Cavan, Friday, October 11th, suddenly. Formerly of Volkswagen Group Ireland. Adored father of his heartbroken children; Otto and Anke, and husband of his devoted wife Georgina. Beloved son of Brenda (nee Gaffney) and the late Noel. Treasured brother to Eiméar (Doughty). Aidan will be deeply missed and fondly remembered by his family including his parents in law; Billy and Persis, brothers in law, sisters in law, nephews, niece, aunts, uncles, cousins, extended family, friends, colleagues and neighbours.

Reposing at his home, Duffcastle, Crosserlough (A82 HN22) on Friday (18th) from 3pm to 8pm. Funeral Mass on Saturday (19th) at 12 noon in St. Mary's Church, Crosserlough (A82 WC61). Elizabeth Bent, Née Dunne, Kilmore, New Inns Road, Ballyjamesduff, Co. Cavan, formerly of Drimnagh, Dublin, Tuesday, October 15th, peacefully surrounded by her loving family at Lisdarn Unit Cavan. Predeceased by her loving son Michael. Elizabeth will be sadly missed by her loving husband and best friend Seamus, daughter Hilda, sons Edward, Tony, Darren, son in law, daughters in law, her adored grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, relatives, and many friends.

Reposing at Lakelands Funeral Home, Dublin Road, Cavan H12 RF78 on Thursday evening October 17th, from 5.00pm until 7.00pm. Requiem Mass in St. Joseph’s Church, Ballyjamesduff on Friday at 11am followed by Cremation at Lakelands Crematorium, Cavan.

D'Souza, Sr. Olga MSHR. (Glasnevin, Dublin and formerly Cavan) 16th October 2024 (peacefully) in the kind and loving care of Beneavin House Nursing Home. Deeply regretted by her MSHR sisters, her family, and extended family in the UK, USA and Goa.
Reposing at Brookville, Westpark, Artane, from 3.30 pm. Thursday 17th October followed by evening prayer at 5.00 pm. Funeral Mass Friday 11.00 am. in St. Brendan’s Church, Coolock. Burial immediately afterwards at Dardistown Cemetery.

Wednesday October 16th 2024, peacefully, surrounded by her family and in the loving care of the staff and her friends in College View Nursing Home, Cavan. Predeceased by her beloved husband Andy, her infant son Eamonn, her sister Kathleen, brothers Thomas, Paddy, George and Larry.
Margaret will be very sadly missed by her heartbroken family, daughter Maura (Seamus) sons Declan (Monica) and Cathal (Barbara) loving brother Michael Cullivan, Ricehill, her adored grandchildren, Cathal, Fergus, Philip, Eimear, Mairéad, Grace, Donal,Ross, Hollie, Hannagh, Ellen and Seán, her sister in law, nieces and nephews, all her extended family and many friends.

Removal from her residence on Friday morning at 10.30 to St Mary’s Church, Ballyhaise arriving for Funeral Mass at 11am. Following Mass, the cortege will travel to Cullies cemetery for committal prayers and burial in the family plot,

O’Reilly, Eugene (Palmerstown and formerly of Virginia, Co. Cavan) 16th, October 2024, peacefully at home surrounded by his loving family. Beloved husband of Josie (née Curley) and dear father of Yvonne, Eoghan, Emer and Sean. Loved grandfather of Niamh, Kevin, Jamie, Simon, Cillian, Daragh, Shane and Shauna. Sadly missed by daughters-in-law Lynn and Ruth, sons-in-law Julian and Colm, brother Eddie, sister Angela, sister-in-law Phyliss, extended family, Declan, Ava and Mya, nieces, nephews, neighbours and friends. The death has occurred of John Cumiskey, Corragarry, Castleblayney, Co.Monaghan and formerly Tray, Culloville, Castleblayney. Wednesday October 16th, peacefully at Castleross Retirement Village.
Predeceased by his parents Jack and Maud, brothers Patrick and Macartan, sister Sally and his grandaughter Anika.
John deeply regretted by his loving family, his wife Mena, sons Sean (Cathy), Joe (Sabine), Michael (Susan) and Paul (Sabrina) his twelve cherished grandchildren, brother Gerry, sisters in-law Susan Cumiskey and Roisin Hannaway, nieces, nephews, extended family neighbours and many friends.

Predeceased recently by his wife Bridie (née Callan), parents Patrick and Annie Ward and his brother Patsy. Deeply regretted and sadly missed with love by his heartbroken family, sons Martin, Peter (Debbie), Michael (Ivona), Richard (Melissa), daughters Ann-Marie (Gordon), Joan (James) and Paula (Trevor), grandchildren Roan, Lucas, Michael, John, Brendan, Ruth and Ciarán, extended family and friends.

Removal on Saturday morning (19th Oct) on foot via Monaghan Street to arrive at St. Joseph’s Church, Carrickmacross, A81 K253 for Requiem Mass at 11am. Burial afterwards in St Joseph’s Cemetery, Carrickmacross.
