Geraldine Carolan

The death has occurred of Geraldine Carolan. Plas Fionn Barra, Convent Lands, Carrickmacross & formerly Kingscourt, Co. Cavan. 13th October 2024. Unexpectedly at her home.

Predeceased by her parents Paddy & Kitty and her sister Kate.

Sadly missed and remembered with love by her heartbroken family; her son Pádraig, her sisters Maria, Patricia, Verona & Liz and her brothers Noel & Pádraig, her brothers-in-law, nephews, nieces, relatives and friends.

MAY SHE REST IN PEACE.

Geraldine will repose at Lonergan Funeral Directors Funeral Home, Carrickmacross, A 81 D328, on Tuesday, 15th October, from 4pm until 8pm.

Geraldine's funeral cortège will leave her home, Plas Fionna Barra, on Wednesday, 16th October, driving via Oriel Road, Dundalk Road, proceeding on foot via Farney Street, Main Street, to St. Joseph's Church, Carrickmacross, arriving for Funeral Mass at 11am followed by cremation at Lakelands Crematorium, Cavan, at 3:30pm.

Garrymore, Ballinagh, Cavan

Ilse Kiebler, Garrymore, Ballinagh, Co, Cavan. Friday October 11th, peacefully at Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital Drogheda, surrounded by her loving family. Ilse will be very sadly missed by her loving family, Husband Rolf and son Sven, nieces, relatives, neighbours, and many friends.

A celebration of Ilse’s life will take place in Lakelands Funeral Home and Crematorium, Cavan on Sunday, October 27th, at 12noon.

Rose McCAFFREY

(née Boyle)

Cordoagh, Cootehill, Cavan, H16 HK71

The death has occurred of Rose McCaffrey (nee Boyle) late of Cordoagh, Cootehill, Co.Cavan. Died Sunday 13th October 2024, peacefully at the Mater Hospital Dublin surrounded by her loving family. Predeceased by her baby son Damien, Sister Marion, parents Paddy and Mary Boyle.

Deeply regretted by her loving husband Matthias, son Pádraig, daughters Claire and Sinéad, her adored grandaughters Megan, Saoírse, Clódagh and Céala. Sadly missed by her sisters Ann, Bridgie, Pauline and her brother Patrick, neices, nephews,cousins, neighbours and friends.

Rest In Peace

Reposing at her residence Tuesday, 15th October, from 2pm-10pm. Removal on Wednesday morning to St.Brigid's Church, Kill, arriving for 12 noon Funeral Mass, followed by burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.

House private at all other times please to family, neighbours and friends. Shuttle bus will be operating from St.Brigid's Church carpark on Tuesday from 2pm-10pm. Please leave a message of sympathy for the family in the condolence section at the bottom of this page.

Ena McInerney

(née O'Reilly)

Drumcrow, Ballinagh, Cavan

Ena McInerney, Née O’Reilly, Drumcrow, Ballinagh, Co. Cavan, Sunday, October 13th, peacefully surrounded by her loving daughters at Lisdarn Unit Cavan. Ena is predeceased by her loving husband Harry and daughter Joan. Ena will be sadly missed by her loving daughters Carol Ann, Barbara, Nuala, partners, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nephews, nieces, and close friends.

Reposing in Lakelands Funeral Home, Dublin Road, Cavan H12 RF78 on Tuesday evening, October 15th, from 5.00pm until 7.00pm. A celebration of Ena’s life will take place in Lakelands Crematorium, Cavan on Wednesday, October 16th, at 11.00am.
