Generally mild and unsettled with rain and showers. That's the latest weather outlook from Met Éireann.
Largely dry this morning and afternoon with the best of the sunny spells in the north and east with the chance of isolated showers. However, it will become mostly cloudy in the southwest and west with occasional rain and drizzle more frequent in the evening. Highest temperatures of 13 to 16 degrees with mostly moderate southeast winds, freshening in the west and southwest later.
Mostly cloudy tonight with outbreaks of rain and drizzle. Driest in the east and southeast. Lowest temperatures of 8 to 13 degrees in moderate to fresh south to southeast winds.
Mostly cloudy and damp tomorrow (Friday) with outbreaks of rain and drizzle. The best chance for any sunny spells will be in the southwest and west in the afternoon. Highest temperatures of 14 to 18 degrees in moderate to fresh south or southeast winds.
Mild and wet overnight on Friday with widespread rain, turning heavy in places with possible localised flooding. Temperatures won't fall below 11 to 15 degrees in moderate, occasionally fresh, south or southeast winds.
Saturday will be wet and breezy with showery outbreaks of rain, heavy at times with some localised flooding likely, especially for southern counties. Highest temperatures of 14 to 17 degrees in fresh south or southeast winds.
Wet at first Saturday night with widespread outbreaks of showery rain, gradually becoming confined to the north and east by morning as drier and clearer conditions move in from the southwest. Lowest temperatures of 9 to 13 degrees with southerly winds falling light.
The last of the overnight cloud and rain will clear in the north and east on Sunday morning to leave a day of sunny spells and scattered showers, heaviest and most persistent in the south and west. Highest temperatures of 15 to 18 degrees in moderate southerly winds, fresher for the west and southwest.
Monday will see sunny spells and scattered showers, some heavy and prolonged with the chance of thunderstorms. Highest temperatures of 14 to 17 degrees in moderate southeasterly winds, fresher near coasts.
