Lurgan edge senior title in thriller

Mullahoran and Butlersbridge claim IFC and JFC titles

Lurgan claimed their ninth senior Ladies Championship by the narrowest of margins against a talented Crosserlough team at Kingspan Breffni yesterday.

Cavan's most decorated ladies team added to their trophy haul winning on a scoreline of 0-13 to 0-12

The the senior title hung in the balance until the final whistle, the Intermediate and Junior finals jangled fewer nerves.

Mullahoran eased past Knockbride the Intermediate with 10 points to spare on a final score of 0-13 to 0-03.

Meanwhile Butlersbridge blitzed Cavan Gaels 5-13 to 0-08 to take the junior title.
