Dearly loved husband of Frances (Née McCague), loving father of Rory (Catherine), Ann (Fergus), Orla and doting Grandad to Oisín and Croíadh. Deeply regretted by his loving family his brother Patrick (Mary), sisters- in- Law, brother-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives and many friends. Predeceased by his baby daughter Elaine and his parents Mary and Ben.

Sister Pius Galligan (Mollie)

Blackheath, London / Drumcassidy, Kilnaleck, Cavan

Sister Pius Galligan (Mollie) Blackheath, London and formerly of Drumcassidy, Kilnaleck. Thursday, August 8th (peacefully) at The Marian House Retirement Home in the loving care of The Sisters of the Sacred Hearts of Jesus and Mary.

Predeceased by her parents Peter & Mary Ellen, her brother Benny (Mullaghboy), her sisters Annie (Drumhirk), Rose (Donegal) and Kathleen (Omagh). Deeply regretted and sadly missed by her brother Peter (Kill) and sister Peggy (London), nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours and friends.

Rest In Peace

Sister Pius's Funeral took place on Wednesday 4th September with interment in Chigwell Convent Grounds, London. A Memorial Mass will take place in St. Mary's Church, Crosserlough on Friday 13th September at 7.30pm.

Drumlaney, Cavan Town, Cavan

Marilyn O’Connor, Drumlaney, Cavan, Monday, September 9th 2024. Peacefully at Cavan General Hospital following an illness bravely borne with dignity, in the loving care of her family and dedicated carers. Wife of the late Vincent O’Connor. Dear mother of Billy (Emily), Michael (Karolina), Katie and Phoebe and loving aunt of Christopher and Jamie, grandmother of Iollán and Cuan. Remembered with love by her sons, daughters, grandchildren, daughters-in-law, auntie Pearl, nephews and her many neighbours and friends.

Resting at her residence tomorrow, Wednesday, from 2pm to 7pm. Family time thereafter please. Removal on Thursday 12th from her residence to St. Fethlimidh’s Cathedral, Kilmore for funeral service at 2pm, followed by commital and burial in Kilmore Cathedral parish graveyard.

Dear mother of Donal. Sadly missed by loving son Donal, daughter-in-law Angela, grandchildren, Daniel and Lorna. Brothers Liam and Eugene, sisters Philomena, Patricia, Majella and Martina, brother-in-laws, Mick, Michael, Barry, Janey and John. Sisters-in-law, Anna, Caroline, Loretta and Margaret, nieces, nephews, great- nieces, great-nephews, friends and neighbours. Predeceased by husband Tommy, sister Maura, brother Thomas. And beloved dog Mylo.

Reposing at Fanagans Funeral Home, 92 Lower Kimmage Rd, Dublin, D6W N279 on Thursday evening from 5 o clock until 7 o clock. Funeral mass on Friday morning in the Church of Mary Immaculate Refuge of Sinners, Rathmines at 10 o clock. Removal afterwards to St Dallan's Church, Kildallan, arriving at approx. 3 o clock for short pray service. Burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.

Unexpectedly at his home Sunday 08 September 2024.

Predeceased by his parents Ina May and William (Willie) and his brother-in-law Tom.

Deeply mourned and sadly missed by his siblings Yvonne, Robert and Evelyn. His nephews and nieces Niall, Robert, Andrew, AnnMarie, Sophia, Pamela and Rachael. His sister-in-law Kathleen and his brother-in-law John, relatives, neighbours and his many friends.

Reposing at his residence A82X240 on Wednesday from 4pm until 8pm. Removal on Thursday to arrive at Bailieborough Parish Church for Funeral Service at 2pm.

Burial afterwards in the adjoining graveyard.

The death has occurred of Tom [Thomas] Britton, Aghintamy, Monaghan. formerly of Cornagresh, Mohill Co. Leitrim, peacefully on the 10th of September at Monaghan general hospital in the loving presence of his family. Predeceased by his beloved wife AnnaMai.

Sadly missed by his loving children, Charlotte, Fiona, Cathal, Derek and Damien, Son-In-Law Martin, Daughers-In-Law, Amy and Milla. Grandchildren, Arwen, Críoa, Ines and Heidi, Brothers Charlie and Kevin, Sisters, Aileen and Margret, Brothers-In-Law, Sisters-In-Law, Nephews, Nieces, Cousins and a large circle of friends.

Removal on Friday morning for 11am, funeral Mass at St Macartan's Cathedral, Monaghan followed by cremation. House Private on Friday morning to family. Flowers family only please. Donations if desired in Tom’s memory to Crocas Cancer Support Services Monaghan.

Bernadette Carbin, Drumcoobrady, Tydavnet, Monaghan. Peacefully passed away at home on Saturday, 31st August, 2024. Surrounded by her daughters Andrea and Marion, grandson Lee, granddaughter- in- law Erica and nephew Séan. Predeceased by her parents, Johnny and Molly Carbin, her sisters Kathleen, Mary, Margaret and her brothers Jimmy and JohnJoe. Deeply and sadly missed by her sons Tony and Paul, sisters Tessie and Phyllis (Mark), and brother Gabriel (Maureen), nieces and nephews and friends in Luton.

The death has occurred Sissie (Sarah) Connolly née Comiskey, Tattygar, Castleblayney, Co. Monaghan. Monday, 9th September, peacefully at home surrounded by her loving family. Predeceased by her husband Frank (Dankie), two infant daughters and grandson Patrick. Sadly missed and always loved by her family, son Francis, daughters Sheila, Colette and Mary, sons-in-law, 8 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren, her 8 siblings Tony (Castleblayney), Leo (Castleblayney), Noeleen (Castleblayney), Treasa (Castleblayney), Betty (Hackballscross) May (Dundalk), Ann (Glasgow) and Kathleen (Glasgow),nieces, nephews, relatives, extended family, neighbours and friends.

Reposing at her home in Tattygar from 3pm to 9pm today, (Tuesday) and tomorrow (Wednesday) from 3pm to 9 pm. (Please follow the one-way system in operation for these times). Removal on Thursday morning at 10:30am arriving to St. Mary’s Church, Castleblayney for requiem mass at 11:30 am, continuing on afterwards to Lakelands Crematorium for private cremation at 4 pm. House private on Thursday morning please.

Died peacefully on Monday the 9th of September 2024 in Sydney Australia.Predeceased by his Mother and Father John and Mary Dobbin and his Sister in law Maureen Dobbin and Brother in law Gene Brannigan. Sadly missed by his loving wife Anne and daughters Gemma and Lexy, his brother Sean, sister Anne Brannigan (Three mile house, Monaghan). Fondly remembered by his Nieces and Nephew and wider family circle.

A mass in celebration of Leo’s life will be held on Thursday, the 12th of September 2024, in St John’s Church, Middletown at 7:30 pm.
