Denn completed the U16 double when they saw off Ramor in the Division 1 championship final before a large crowd at PJ Duke Park, Stradone last evening.

Three points from Senan Smith (two frees) and 1-2 from top scorer Nathan Quigley, including a penalty, helped Denn into a 1-5 to 1-2 lead at half-time and they kicked on from there.

In the second half, Quigley added 2-1 with Mark Reilly landing 1-1 and Oisin Smith also pointing for the Denn lads, who were 10 points up at one stage before Ramor finished strongly.

For the Dolan Park boys, Shay Galligan top-scored with 0-5 (2f), with Daire McCrystal raising two white flags, James McDevitt one and Lewis Kerrigan and Tom Murphy both finding the net.
