Seamus O’Reilly, Cloncose, Cornafean, Co. Cavan. Wednesday September 4th 2024, peacefully at his home in the loving care of his devoted wife and best friend Dympna and their family.

Seamus is predeceased by his beloved daughter Brenda and his granddaughter Kiera Aoife, sister Angela, parents John P and Rose. Seamus will be very sadly missed by his wife Dympna and his loving family, Eamon (Deirdre), Sean (Toni), Kieran (Louise), Aoife (Stuart), Dervilla (Sean), his sister Rosemary, his brothers Sean, Frank, Fr Oliver and P.J, adored grandchildren Niall, Cadhla, Conor, Cara, Saoirse, Setanta, Ewan, Fiadh, Seamus Og and Fiachra, brother in law, sisters in law, nephews, nieces, relatives, neighbours and many friends.

Seamus will repose at Lakelands Funeral Home, Dublin Road, Cavan, H12RF78 on Saturday evening September 7th from 5.00pm until 8.00pm. Requiem Mass on Sunday at 12.00pm, in the Church of the Immaculate Conception, Coronea, Interment afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.

James Joseph (Joe) Reilly

Pollakeel, Mountnugent, Cavan

James Joseph (Joe) Reilly, Pollakeel, Mountnugent, Co. Cavan, 4th September 2024, peacefully in Cavan General Hospital. Predeceased by his parents Patrick and Elizabeth and his wife Regina. Sadly missed by his brothers and sisters, Terry, Maura, Kathleen, Pauric and Gerard, his step-daughter Anita, his nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

Joe will be reposing in Gibneys Funeral Home, Oldcastle (A82 D376) on Friday evening from 5pm-7pm. Funeral Mass on Saturday morning at 11am in St Brigids Church, Mountnugent, followed by burial in Ballinacree Cemetery. House Strictly Private Please.

Tudor Lodge, Curkish, Bailieborough, Cavan

Michael Smith, Tudor Lodge, Curkish, Bailieborough, Co Cavan died on the 5th September 2024 peacefully, after a short illness, surrounded by his loving family at Cavan General Hospital. Deeply regretted by his loving wife Kathleen, his loving family, son Adrian (Grace), daughters Denise (Paul), Regina (Mark) and Michelle (Cathal), sister Marian, brothers Johnny, Terry and Andy, grandchildren Dean, Cathy, Leah, Miah, Annie, Beth and Finn, his three foster children, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces and extended family and friends.

Formerly Nicker, Pallasgreen, Co. Limerick. Peacefully in the loving care of her St. Louis Sisters and the staff at Cavan General Hospital on Wednesday 4th September 2024. Predeceased by her parents, Timothy and Mary, her sisters Helena, Rosalie, Sr. Alcantra SSL, Sr Anne SSL and her brothers Cornelius, Patrick and Jim. Deeply regretted and sadly missed by her sister Kathleen, extended family, friends and her St. Louis Community.

Remains will be reposing in St. Louis Convent, Monaghan from 4.30pm until 6pm on Friday, 6th September. Evening Prayer at 6pm. Requiem Mass will take place in St. Macartan’s Cathedral, Monaghan H18 W863 at 11 a.m. on Saturday, 7th September, followed by burial in Latlurcan Cemetery.

The death has occurred of Terry (Terence) Matthews, Amberwood, Cootehill Road Rockcorry Co.Monaghan H18XF89 Wednesday the 4th of September 2024, unexpectedly in the exceptional care of the staff of Beaumont Hospital Dublin. Pre deceased by his parents Peter and Annie. Deeply regretted and sadly missed by his loving family, his devoted wife Susan, Son Damien (Melissa), daughter Karen (Mehmet), adored grandchildren, Kaya ,Aoibhinn, Ava, Alara, Odhrán, brother Gerry (Geraldine), nephews, extended family and a large circle of friends.

Remains reposing at Mullens Funeral Home, Cootehill H16FD25, on Friday, 6th September, from 5p until 8pm..Removal on Saturday morning from his residence, to St. Livinus Church, Killeevan, H18HR60, arriving for 11am funeral mass. Michael Montague, Norfolk Road, Phibsborough, Dublin 7. Formerly of Monaghan Town, Co. Monaghan. 4th January 1937 – 4th September 2024. Michael passed away peacefully at Beaumont Hospital on September 4th, 2024. Beloved son of the late Francis Joseph Montague and Catherine McCarroll, and dear brother of the late Carmel Bolger and Dominic Montague.

He will be deeply missed by his loving sister Josephine Dennison, his nieces, and nephews Afric, Grace, Manus, Moya, Rachel, Simone, Sorcha, Susan, and Wendy, along with his extended family and friends.

Michael’s Requiem Mass will take place in St. Peter's Church, Phibsborough, Dublin 7 on Friday, 6th September, at 10.30am, followed by burial in Glasnevin Cemetery.
