Annual Appreciation Day at Amatino Accountants

Amatino Accountants and Business Consultants honoured their dedicated employees at the annual ‘Service Awards’ earlier this month in the Hotel Kilmore, Cavan.

The event, led by the firm's directors, brought together staff from all four Amatino offices to celebrate years of loyal service and professional achievements.

One of the highlights of the day was a keynote address by special guest Rory O’Connor, an author and mental health advocate behind the hugely popular Rory’s Stories. With over 1.2 million followers and two billion video views, Rory shared his personal journey with mental health challenges, offering uplifting advice on resilience and the importance of maintaining a strong mindset.

During the ceremony, five employees were recognised with long service awards, ranging from five to 20 years. Additionally, one staff member, Mark Tyler, was honoured for achieving first place in Ireland in the CPA Financial Reporting Exam.

John Kieran, director at Amatino, opened the event by expressing gratitude to the staff for their exceptional service to the firm's clients. He congratulated those who reached significant professional milestones, including exam successes, and welcomed 11 new team members who joined since the previous Staff Appreciation Day. Notably, he announced the appointment of Ashley Maguire as a full partner and director of the firm.

The Amatino Service Awards were presented by the directors in attendance including John Kieran, Patrick Cunningham, Geoffrey Foster, Desmond Lowry, and Ashley Maguire.

Sharon Foster, from the Cavan Office, was recognised for her 20 years of service. Also in receipt of service awards were Sean Reilly from the Cavan Office; Sarah Hughes and Bridie McEneaney, from the Carrickmacross operation; and Cait Brennan from the Monaghan Office.
