Knockbride bring popular variety show to Ramor

Knockbride Variety Show is set to take to the Ramor Theatre stage for the very first time in the coming weeks.

Founded in 2009, the 13th annual variety show took place in Tunnyduff Community Hall back in March. Running for four nights instead of the usual three due to popular demand, it was a great success with €12,000 raised for Bailieborough Cancer Comfort and LauraLynn Children’s Hospice.

Following, the opportunity arose to bring the show to the Ramor Theatre. It’s a fantastic opportunity and a testament to the hard work and dedication shown by Knockbride’s cast and crew, not just this year but down through the years.

This must-see variety shows take place September 13 and 14. It promises to be two great nights of music, comedy and dance. The wonderful live band boasts Terry Brady as director and Thomas Hanley as Musical Director.

“We want to thank our cast and crew who have been rehearsing over the summer, which we know is a tough time of year to commit your evenings to being indoors,” said Geraldine Clarke, chairperson of Knockbride Variety Show.

“We are grateful for all those who have helped us get here and to the Ramor Theatre.”

She adds: “We can’t wait to hit the stage and we’re already looking ahead to our 14th annual show at the end of March 2025.”
