Corbally, Limerick / Cootehill, Cavan

Eglantine, Lower Park Corbally, formerly of Lisboduff, Cootehill, Co. Cavan.

Mary passed away peacefully, surrounded by her loving family, at her home, on the 28th August 2024.

She will be sadly missed by her devoted family, her children Marian, James, Catherine, John, Siobhán, Majella, Fiona & Mark, her grandchildren & great-grandchildren, daughters-in-law Susan & Maria, sons-in-law Frank & Jeff, partners Mark, Robert & Gian, brothers John & Michael, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives, Mary’s wonderful carers, neighbours & friends especially her dear friend Deirdre Hayes.

Pre-deceased by her husband Patrick.

Reposing at Griffin’s Funeral Home, John’s Gate on Sunday, 1st September, from 3.30pm to 5.00pm. Arriving to St. Patrick's Church, Dublin Road, for Requiem Mass on Monday, 2nd September, at 11am. Burial afterwards in St. Nicholas' Cemetery, Adare.

Eric Boyle, Ross, Mountnugent, Co. Meath. Thursday, August 29th (peacefully) at The Lisdarn Unit, Cavan. Predeceased by his parents Christy & Vera and his brothers George & Luke. Sadly missed by his sons Darren & Adrian, sister Violet, brothers Christopher & Peter, extended family, friends and neighbours.

Reposing at Briody's Funeral Home, Kilnaleck on Saturday (31st) from 5.30pm to 7.30pm. Funeral on Sunday (1st) arriving to Ss Brigid & Fiach's Church, Ballinacree for Requiem Mass at 1pm. Burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery. Family flowers only please, donations in lieu, if desired, to The Lisdarn Unit c/o Briody's Funeral Home.

Frances Brady

Reask, Cavan Town, Cavan

Frances Brady, Reask, Cavan Wednesday, 28th August, peacefully surrounded by her loving family, in the wonderful care of the staff at Lisdarn Lodge, Cavan. Pre-deceased by her parents Patrick and Mary Brady and her twin brother Anthony. Sadly missed by her daughter Manuela, brother Thomas, sisters Mary (Hennessy), Gretta (Kane) and Anna (Maassarni), brother in law, sister in law, nephews, nieces, relatives and friends.

Reposing at Lakelands Funeral Home, Dublin Road, Cavan, on Friday, 30th August, from 6.00pm until 7.30 pm. Requiem Mass on Saturday at 2.00pm in St Brigid's Church, Killygarry, interment afterwards in adjoining cemetery

The death has occurred of Rebecca (Ruby) Sherriff (née Vogan), Bailieborough Rd, Kingscourt, Co.Cavan, peacefully at Our Lady's Hospital, Navan, in her 90th year, Thursday, 29th August, 2024. Predeceased by her husband Oscar. Deeply regretted by her sons, Carl, Raymond and David. Sadly missed by her daughters-in-law, Liz, Jacqui and David's partner Robyn, grandchildren Luke, Adam, Aoife, Tara, James, Aengus, Jack and Ben, sisters-in-law Rita and Lina, brother-in-law Ernest, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

The death has occurred of Richard Mulligan, Tasson, Clontibret, Co.Monaghan. Wednesday, August 28th, peacefully at his residence, surrounded by his loving family.

Pre-deceased by his parents James and Peg, sister Kitty, brothers in-law Kevin O’Rourke, Joe Duffy and Eamon Mc Aleer and sister-in-law Rita Mc Aleer.

Richard, deeply regretted and remembered with love by his family, wife Susan, daughter Eimear (Marc), sons Conor (Katherine) and Shane (Clíodhna), his cherished grandchildren Éabha-Rose, Clódagh and Saoirse, brother Joe, sisters Rosemarie (Clerkin), Philomena (Duffy) and Bernadette (Grant), sister in-law Dympna, brothers in-law Eugene and Johnny, nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family, neighbours and many friends.

Richard will repose at Wards Funeral Home Castleblayney (A75NP30) tomorrow, Friday afternoon, from 4pm until 8:30pm. Richard’s funeral cortège will travel from his family home on Saturday afternoon at 1:30pm to arrive at St Michael’s Church, Annyalla for funeral mass at 2pm, followed by burial in adjoining cemetery.

Family flowers only please, donations if desired to The Alzheimer’s Society C/o Wards Funeral Home or by donation box.
