Nuálach Automation opens new HQ and workshop in Cavan

Automation services firm, Nuálach Automation, has opened a new 5,500 sq. ft. facility in Virginia, Cavan.

The new company HQ includes a custom-fitted production workshop, machine build demonstration facility and office space for the firm's expanding services, operations and staff.

Nuálach Automation provides bespoke machine build, automation consultancy and support services for indigenous and international companies in the pharmaceutical, life science, medical device, automotive, and industrial sectors. Clients include 3M, Abbott, Medtronic, and MCI.

“This is an immensely proud day for us all here at Nuálach Automation,” said Kealan O’Connell, director and design manager.

“Our new HQ investment and continued success is a testament to the commitment of our expert staff, the trust given to us by our fantastic clients and key supports and mentoring we have received from the Local Enterprise Office as we expand and grow," added Mr O’Connell.

The company recently took on five new staff members and over the next year hopes to double in size as its rapid growth continues.

Cllr T.P. O'Reilly, Cathaoirleach of Cavan County Council, performed the official honours and congratulated the company on their continued success.

"I welcome the new investment which has recently been made by Cavan County Council's Local Enterprise Office in partnership with Enterprise Ireland, which will enable the company to scale and develop new opportunities both in Ireland and overseas markets," he said.

Eoin Doyle, Chief Executive, Cavan County Council, also joined in the congratulations.

Nuálach Automation was founded in 2021 in Cavan by Virginia native O’Connell and co-director and controls manager, Evan Roarke, who is a native of Athlone, Co Westmeath.

"We started out supporting a small number of key multinationals in Westmeath and Cavan in production and systems automation," explained Mr Roarke.

"We quickly developed a reputation for delivering quality and performance, particular in key sectors. The strategic expansion of our team and operations is enabling us to deepen legacy client partnerships while at the same onboard new clients across Ireland and overseas," he added.
