Cusack Lighting in fundraiser to support children’s hospice

A local retailer has launched a fundraising raffle to support Ireland’s only dedicated children’s hospice.

Cusack Lighting is putting up the coveted prize - a €1,000 home makeover - to raise money for LauraLynn.

The fundraiser, which runs for the full month of August, aims to generate vital funds, which will go towards care and supports for children with life-limiting conditions and their families.

First prize for the lucky winner is a €1,000 voucher to spend at Cusack Lighting across lighting, interiors, furniture, electrical appliances and home accessories.

The prize also includes a consultation with Cusack Lighting’s interior designer who can help inspire the winner to make their dream home a reality. There are also 10 runners-up prizes including a complete bed, flatscreen TV, table lamps, fragrance hampers and so much more!

Speaking about the initiative, Niall Cusack said: “We want to shine a light on LauraLynn and the amazing work they do as Ireland’s only children’s hospice. LauraLynn care is provided completely free of charge, so with everyone’s support we can help families get the support they need and make the most of short and precious lives.”

The generous company also also pledged to donate a percentage of all online sales to the hospice during the month of August.

Since opening in September 2011, LauraLynn Ireland Children’s Hospice has provided specialised hospice care to 795 children with life-limiting conditions and their families.

LauraLynn provides holistic care to each child which enables them to make the most of every day. This care also extends to the family of each child who are often dealing with difficult emotional, physical and financial pressures.
