RTC: Motorists travelling to Virginia advised to 'take alternative route'

Gardaí and emergency services are currently at the scene of a road traffic collision near Virginia.

The collision involving two trucks occurred on the N3 at Pollintemple at approximately 1:10pm this afternoon, Wednesday, August 21 2024.

No serious injuries have been reported at this time. The road is partially blocked and there are significant delays to traffic in the area.

Motorists are advised to consider an alternative route, where possible.
