Sheila Lynch

(née Mulvany)

Palmyra, Mullagh, Cavan / Kells, Meath

Peacefully at her Residence.

20th August 2024

Predeceased by Her beloved Husband Michael, her Parents Eugene and Julia, her brothers John, Liam and Gene and her dear sister Ann.

Sadly missed by her sons Eugene (Monica) Colm, Martin (Philomena); daughter Aileen (Darren); her beloved Grandchildren Níamh, Aoife, Maria, Darragh, Áine, Tara and Ciara; her sister Marie (Mickey), brother Desie, sisters in law Josephine and Irene, and all her nieces and nephews.

Reposing at her residence Wed afternoon from 4.30 pm - 9pm for family, neighbours and close friends and at Matthews Funeral Home, Bailieborough, Road Virginia (A82YV58) on Thursday 22nd from 4 pm - 8 pm

Funeral Mass Friday 23rd in St. Mary's Church Crossreagh at 11am.

Burial afterwards in Mullagh Cemetery.

Bernard (Barney) McKENNA

Ballybrack, Dublin / Loughlinstown, Dublin / Cavan

McKENNA (Achill Road, Ballybrack / Loughlinstown, Co. Dublin and formerly of Cavan) – August 20th 2024 (peacefully) in the wonderful kind care of the staff at St. Vincent’s University Hospital. Bernard (Barney); dearly beloved husband of Mary, much loved and devoted Dad of Brian, Bernie, Joanne, Martin and Raymond. He will be very sadly missed by his loving wife, sons, daughters, daughter-in-law Nikki, son-in-law Darren, grandchildren Kieran and Zachary, sister Pauline, nephews, nieces, the Galligan Family, relatives and friends.

May he rest in peace.

Reposing at Patrick O’Donovan & Son Funeral Home, Sallynoggin on Sunday (August 25th) from 3pm until 5pm with a gathering of family and friends for prayer service at 4.30pm (All welcome to attend) Removal on Monday (August 26th) to the Church of St. Columbanus, Loughlinstown Drive arriving for 11am Requiem Mass. Funeral immediately afterwards to St. Michael’s Cremation Services Chapel within the Funeral Home arriving for 1pm cremation service.

Monica Nielsen

(née McCabe)

Grange Road, Cashla, Athenry, Galway / Cavan

The death has occurred of Monica Nielsen (nee McCabe), Grange Road, Cashla, Athenry, Co Galway and formerly of Behey, Co Cavan. Peacefully in the wonderful care of the staff at Galway Hospice on 16th August 2024.

Devoted wife of Richard and cherished mother of Emily and Robert. Sadly missed by her family, her sisters Teresa, Kathleen and Bernie, brothers Roy and Danny, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, extended family, neighbors and friends.

Predeceased by her infant son Andrew, her parents Bobby and Ann and sister Sheila.

Reposing at Síoraíocht (H91 XH02) in the grounds of the Church of the Assumption and St James, Claregalway on this (Thursday) evening from 5:00 p.m. with removal to the Church of the Assumption and St James, Claregalway at 6.30 p.m.

Funeral Mass on Friday in the Church of the Assumption and St James, Claregalway at 11:00 am, with Burial in Renville Cemetery.

(née O'Brien)

Feebaghduff, Scotstown, Monaghan

Peacefully in the care of the staff at Virginia Health Care Centre, Co. Cavan, surrounded by her loving family.

Predeceased by her husband Tommy and her daughter Brenda.

Sadly missed by her son Sean and her grandson Shea, her brother Malachy and her sisters Kathleen, Dolores, May, Helen and Ann, brothers in law, sisters in law, nephews, nieces, relatives and friends.

May she rest in peace.

Reposing at her home on Wednesday (21/08/2024) from 5pm until 9pm.

Family time at other times please.

Removal on Thursday (22/08/2024) at 10.30am, arriving at St. Mary’s Church, Urbleshanny for Funeral Mass at 11am. Burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.
