Sara Burke (Sadie) née McGibney, Cordarragh, Kiltimagh, Co. Mayo, and formerly of Killeshandra and Lemongrove House, Co. Westmeath.

Most beloved wife of Aiden, devoted mother and best friend of Jeannette (Fintan), Maeve (Shane), Cathal and Carla, cherished grandmother of Brianna, Daire, Sinead, Annie, James, Sybil, Henry and Mathilda, sister of Maureen, Nuala, Desmond, Brendan and Colm, sister-in-law to Anne, Margie and Elizabeth and her valued friends and neighbours.

“May flights of Angels sing thee to Thy Rest”.

Reposing at the family residence at Cordarragh, Balla Road, Kiltimagh F12 N242 on Friday evening from 6.00 pm to 8.00 pm.

The funeral cortège with leave the family home on Saturday morning at 11.40 am to arrive at the Church of the Holy Family, Kiltimagh for Funeral Mass at 12 noon, followed by burial in Kilkinure Cemetery, Kiltimagh.

Theresa McCabe

Edenagully, Bailieborough, Cavan / Kingscourt, Cavan

The death has occurred of Theresa McCabe, Toronto, Canada, and formerly of Edenagully, Bailieborough, Co. Cavan, in her 88th year, 30th of June 2024.

Pre-deceased by Mother Kate, Father John Patrick and her brother Seamus. Theresa will be sadly missed by her sister Marieileen. Her nieces and nephews, Ann, Martin, Lorcan, Catriona, Mary and Lucy, her extended family, and friends.

A memorial Mass for Theresa with be celebrated this Sunday,18th August at 12 pm in the Church of the Immaculate Conception, Kingscourt.

Chukwuemeka Ojiogbu (Mykus) Amobi

Monaghan Street, Carrickmacross, Monaghan

The death has occurred of Chukwuemeka Ojiogbu “Mykus” Amobi, Monaghan Street, Carrickmacross, Co. Monaghan, unexpectedly but peacefully at his residence, Monday 12th August 2024. Deeply regretted and sadly missed by his loving brother Jideka, extended families of Tumamao, Servitillo, Mahilaga, friends and classmates.

Reposing at Deery’s Funeral Home, Carrickmacross (A81 C653) on Thursday from 5pm to 8pm and on Saturday 5pm-8pm and Sunday from 3pm to 7pm followed by a private Cremation.

Creevy Oliver, Carrickmacross, Monaghan

The death has occurred of David Callan, Creevy Oliver, Carrickmacross, Co. Monaghan, unexpectedly at his residence, Tuesday 13th August 2024. Predeceased by his father Owen and sister Yvonne Callan.

Deeply regretted and sadly missed by his loving mother Mary (May), brothers Gerald and Brian and sisters Mary, Madge and Frances, sister-in-law Lisa, brother-in-law Jeff, nieces Aisling, Sinead and Aoibheann and nephew Sean, relatives and friends.

Cormac John Paul McGowan

Knockroe, Clones Road, Monaghan Town, Monaghan

Born 7th January 1959.

Predeceased by his father Cormac and sister Emer.

Sadly missed by his mother Rosaleen, his beloved Ruth and children Neal, Lydia and Leon, grandchildren Arabella and baby Noah, siblings Rosie, Cliona, Rory and Paul, and children in law Esme and Lyall.

A big, warm heart has passed.

May he rest in peace.

Reposing at the premises of McElvaney Funeral Directors, Church Sq., Monaghan on Thursday (15/08/2024) from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m.

Removal on Friday (16/08/2024) at 10.30 a.m., arriving at St. Macartan’s Cathedral, Monaghan for funeral Mass at 11 a.m., followed by private cremation.
