Eamonn Costin 41 Drumnaveil, Cootehill, Co Cavan, Ex 12th Battalion, Clonmel and 29th Battalion, Tanagh, Cootehill, died the 9th of August 2024 peacefully at home surrounded by his loving family. Predeceased by his parents Patrick and Maureen, brothers and sisters, grandchildren James and Dylan. Deeply regretted and sadly missed by his loving wife Bernadette, sons Patrick and Kevin, daughters Sharon, Elaine, Fiona and Aíne, sons-in-law, daughter-in-law, grandchildren, brothers, sister, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, relative and a large circle of friends. Rest in Peace.
Reposing at Mullen’s Funeral Home, Cootehill (H16FD25) on Saturday, 10th of August, from 5pm till 7pm. Removal leaving his home on Sunday afternoon at 1.30pm to arrive at St.Michael’s Church, Cootehill for 2pm Funeral Mass. Burial afterwards in St. Michael’s Cemetery, Cootehill. Family flowers only please. Donations in lieu of Eamonn to Cootehill Cancer Care and Palliative Care Cavan and Monaghan c/o of Mullen’s Funeral Directors, Cootehill or any family member. Matthew Dunning
Drumhallagh, Tullyco, Cootehill, Cavan / Greenhills, Dublin
Maatthew died peacefully at St. Francis Hospice, Blanchardstown, surrounded by his loving family. Predeceased by his father Matthew. Deeply regretted by his loving wife Mary and doting daughter Holly. Sadly missed by his mother Teresa, brothers, sisters, nieces, nephews, brothers in law, sister in law, colleagues, neighbours and friends. Rest in Peace.
Removal from his home on Sunday to arrive at St. Brigid’s Church, Laragh for Funeral Mass at 11am, burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery. House private please. Francis Smyth
Cornagilta, Tydavnet, Monaghan, H18 Y925 / Roslea, Fermanagh
The death occurred of Francis Smyth, Cornagilta, Tydavnet, Co. Monaghan, H18 Y925 and formerly Doon, Corranny, Roslea, Co. Fermanagh on Friday 9th August peacefully surrounded by his loving family in the care of the Rossmore Ward at Monaghan General Hospital.
Predeceased by his brother Joe and sister Theresa, Francis will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his wife Meg, daughters Lynda and Aileen, son Kieran, son-in-law Shane, grandchildren Symone, Ronan and Chilav, brothers Jimmy and Cormac, nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. May Francis gentle soul Rest in Peace.
Francis remains will repose at his home on Saturday from 3pm - 8pm and Sunday from 3pm - 8pm. Family time at all other times please. Funeral Mass on Monday at 2pm in St Mary’s Church, Urbleshanny. Burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery. Please note, there will be a shuttle bus available from Cornagilta School Heritage Centre, H18 ED89.

Inniskeen, Monaghan / Dundalk, Louth
Edel Magee, ArdCúl, Drumass, Inniskeen, Co. Monaghan, passed away peacefully on 9th August, 2024, surrounded by the love and care of her devoted family and the wonderful staff of Oriel 1, the Palliative Care and Chaplaincy Teams in Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital, Drogheda.
Predeceased by her much loved parents, Mary and Phil. Beloved sister of Míchéal, Frank, Miriam (Killeen) and Fintan. Sadly missed and remembered with love by her family including nephews and nieces Enda, Aisling, Colm, Dara, Eimer, Sinéad, Cathal, Niamh, Alex, Órla, Cormac and Conor, sisters-in-law Mary, Jean and Majella, brother-in-law Michael, aunts Cecily, Frances, Kathleen and Mary, extended family and devoted friends.
Reposing at Magee's Funeral Home, Inniskeen, Sunday, 11th August, from 4-7pm. House private please. Removal on Monday morning, 12th August, 2024, to the Church of Mary Mother of Mercy, Inniskeen, for Funeral Mass at 11am, with burial afterwards in St. Mary's Cemetery.

Jimmy Morgan
7 Highfield Close, Monaghan Town, Monaghan, H18CX90 and formerly Knockballyroney, Knockatallon.
Jimmy died on August 10th 2024, peacefully at Cavan General Hospital. Predeceased by his wife Eileen (née Treanor) and his son Kieran, his parents Pat and Bridget, sisters Mary and Agnes and brother Packie.
Sadly missed by his loving sons Seamus (Trish), Michael (Michelle) and Damien (Linda), daughters Caroline (Mickey) and Aileen (Noel), grandchildren, sisters in law, nephews, nieces, relatives, neighbours and friends. Rest in peace.
Reposing at his home on Sunday 11th August from 3pm to 9pm and on Monday, 12th August from 3pm to 9pm. Family and close friends on Tuesday morning please.
Removal on Tuesday, 13th August at 10:15am arriving at St. Macartan’s Cathedral, Monaghan for funeral Mass at 11am. Burial afterwards in St. Joseph’s New Cemetery, Latlurcan.
