Rita Carolan

Lisnalea, Bailieborough, Cavan

Rita Carolan, Lisnalea, Bailieborough, Co Cavan died on the 5th August 2024 peacefully at Fairlawns Nursing Home, Bailieborough surrounded by her loving family. Predeceased by her husband James and son Jimmy.

Deeply regretted by her daughters Deirdre (Noel), Imelda, Mairead (Declan), Roisín (Bernard), grandchildren Aoife, Andrew, Cian, Mark, Lauren, Jamie, Daniel and Jack, great grandchildren Eadha and Caelan, sister Bridie, brother-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

Reposing at Clarke's Funeral Home, Bailieborough on Wednesday evening 7th August from 5pm - 8pm. Funeral to arrive at St. Anne's Church, Bailieborough on Thursday 8th August for Funeral Mass at 11am with burial afterwards in St. Anne's Cemetery. The Funeral Mass can be viewed live here.

(née Winters)

Monaghan Town, Monaghan

Leeds and formerly Tully, Monaghan. Peacefully at home in Leeds, surrounded by her loving family.

She will be greatly missed as a beloved mother, grandmother and great grandmother by her children, sons Mark and Paul, daughters Tina, Jacqueline and Joy, daughters in law Sue and Beverly, sons in law Alain and Chris, her cherished grandchildren Emma, Jake, Francesca, Sophie, Michael, Brendan, Megan and Catriona, great-granddaughter Everleigh, extended family and a large circle of friends.

Removal from the residence of her son Paul, Cornamundy, Monaghan, on Saturday (10/08/2024) at 10.30 a.m. to St. Joseph's New Cemetery, Latlurcan, Monaghan for prayers of committal at 11a.m.

Creesil, Tydavnet, Monaghan, H18EY67 / Athenry, Galway

The death has occurred of Mary O'Hagan, Creesil, Tydavnet, Co. Monaghan and formerly Athenry, Co. Galway, Monday 5th August peacefully surrounded by her heartbroken family. Predeceased by her son Rísteard (Richard), her parents Liam & Noreen Hoare (Athenry) and her brother Michael Hoare (Swords).

Mary will be forever loved and remembered by her daughter Nóirín, sister Eileen (Kevin O' Donoghue,) in Athenry, brothers Seamus (Louise) in Spain , Sean (Deirdre) in Oranmore, her sister-in-law Judy Hoare, her stepmother Evelyn, her aunt Teresa, Rísteard's partner Claire, cousins, extended family, friends, neighbours and all who knew and loved her.

Mary will repose at her family home (H18EY67) on Thursday (8th) from 3pm until 8pm. Mary's funeral procession will arrive to St Mary's Church, Urbleshanny, Scotstown, on Friday morning for 12 noon Funeral Mass. Burial afterwards alongside her son Rísteard in adjoining cemetery. Family flowers only, please, donations in lieu, if desired to the "Galway Hospice" via donation box or Clerkin Funeral Directors. Mary's Funeral Mass will be streamlined on the following; Tydavnet Parish RC Churches Facebook page.

The death has occurred of Nellie Duffy (nee McMahon) formerly of Loughmourne PO, Ballybay & late of Anney, Latton, Castleblayney, Co.Monaghan. Peacefully at the home of her nephew Thomas & Brid Fitzpatrick, Anney. Predeceased by her husband Lawrence, her sister Maureen Fitzpatrick, brothers James & Pat. Sadly missed & remembered by her nieces, nephews, friends & neighbours.

May her gentle soul rest in eternal peace

Nellie will be reposing at the residence of her nephew Thomas & Brid Fitzpatrick (A75 KV99) on Wednesday 7th August from 2pm-9pm.

Funeral mass will be held on Thursday 8th August at 11am in Saint Mary's Church Latton. Burial afterwards in adjoining cemetery.

House strictly private on Thursday morning to family & friends.

The death has occurred Annie Connor (née Hanratty), 4 The Crescent, Castleblayney, Co. Monaghan. Tuesday, 6th August, peacefully in St. Mary’s Hospital surrounded by her loving family. Predeceased by her husband David, son David Jnr, parents Elizabeth and Patrick, sisters Kathleen Hanratty and Martha Hackett, brothers Patsy, Willie, Owenie and Tam and her beloved dog Minnie. Deeply regretted and sadly missed by her loving family, sons Martin and James, daughters Mary (Eugene), Anne, Deidre (Billy), Elizabeth (Seamus) and Nadine, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchild, nieces, nephews, relatives, extended family and friends.

Reposing at her home from 2pm to 9pm tomorrow (Wednesday) and from 2pm to 9pm on Thursday. Removal on Friday morning at 10:30, arriving to St. Mary’s Church, Castleblayney for requiem mass at 11am with burial afterwards in adjoining cemetery where Annie will be laid to rest alongside her beloved husband David.

Family flowers only please, donations in lieu to Lurgan House patient comfort fund, St. Mary’s Hospital by donation box or care of Hughes Funeral Directors, Castleblayney.

The death has occurred of Patricia Connor. Drumleek South, Castleblayney. 6th August 2024. Peacefully, surrounded by her cherished family, at Cavan General Hospital.

Predeceased by her father Michael and her grandparents Owenie & May Kelly.

Sadly missed and remembered with love by her beloved family; her husband James, her sons Sean, Ciaran & Mark, her much-loved grandchildren Sofia, Grace & Evan, her mother Rose, her sister Yvonne and her brothers Gerard & Paul, her extended family, friends & neighbours.

Patricia's funeral cortège will leave her home on Saturday, 10th August, proceeding to St. Mary's Church, Castleblayney, arriving for Funeral Mass at 11am followed by burial in the adjoining Cemetery.
