Peacefully at Cavan General Hospital, 22nd July 2024

She will be sadly missed by her husband Tommy, her loving family Declan (Sara), Stephen (Magda), Gary (Kay), Helena (Adrian), Ciarán (Sharon) and Niall (Marie), her sister Chrissie (P.J.), sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, beloved grandchildren Kevin, Edel, Siobhán, Tara, Holly, Kasia, Conor, Fintan, Mackenzie, Annabelle and Thomas, her nieces and nephews, extended family, neighbours and friends.

Reposing at Smith’s Funeral Home, High St., Ballinamore, Co. Leitrim, N41 TD62 this Wednesday evening, 24th July, from 6pm until 8pm. Removal from her home on Thursday morning, arriving to St. Patrick’s Church, Corlough for Funeral Mass at 12 noon followed by burial in adjoining cemetery. Family Flowers only please.

The death has occurred of Ann (Mitzie) Corscadden (née Ahern), Cabra Castle, Kingscourt, Co. Cavan, A82 EC64, and formerly of Ballyline, Ballylongford, Co. Kerry, who passed away peacefully, surrounded by her family, at Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital, Drogheda, 22nd July 2024.

Predeceased by her beloved husband Patrick, ‘Pappy’. Deeply missed by her children Patricia, Howard, Marnie, Adam, and Patrick (Pappy-Joe), her adored grandchildren Sean, Eoin, Jack, Ellen, Alex, Ben, Ruby, Harry, Daisy and Lily Mae, her great-grandchildren Finbar and Bonnie, sons-in-law Les McCabe and Rory O’Sullivan, daughters-in-law Deirdre, Therese and Ciara, her brother Neilie and sister Josie O’ Callaghan, her sisters in law, her many nieces and nephews and a wide circle of friends.

Mitzie will repose at The Granary in Cabra Castle on Wednesday, 24th July, from 4pm to 7pm. Funeral Mass in the Church of the Immaculate Conception, Kingscourt on Thursday, 25th July, at 10.00am with burial afterwards in Kingscourt Cemetery. The Funeral Mass can be viewed live here.

Olive Galligan, (nee Tuite), Larigan, Carrickaboy, Co. Cavan and formerly of St. Clement's Park, Point Road, Dundalk, Co. Louth, Monday, July 22nd, (peacefully), surrounded by her loving family at Cavan General Hospital. Predeceased by her parents, sister Mary and brother Brendan. Sadly missed by her loving husband John, daughter Emma, sons Shaun, Aidan and Mark, son in law Brian, daughters in law Jackie, Jenni and Sara, her nine cherished grandchildren, brother John, sister in law Maureen, nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours and friends.

McEnerney, Oliver (Ollie) - (Retired An Garda Síochana) - (Whitehall, Dublin 9 and formerly of Freeduff, Co.Cavan) - July 20th 2024 (Suddenly). Beloved husband of Dorothy and loving father of Gillian, Hugh and Ross. Deeply missed by his heartbroken wife, daughter and sons, son-in-law David, daughter-in-law Fiona, grandchildren Ruby and Evie, brothers John, Martin and Mel , sisters Nan and Frances , brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, extended family, friends and neighbours. Predeceased by his brothers Eamonn and Seamus and sister Margaret and a special mention to his beloved dog Louie.

Reposing at his home on Friday, 26th July, from 5pm to 7pm. Removal on Saturday morning, 27th July, to the Church of the Holy Child, Whitehall arriving for Funeral Mass at 10am. Burial afterwards in Dardistown Cemetery.

Sadly missed by her loving family, daughters Mary (Pearse), Martina (John), and sons Hugh Joe (Ann), Seamus, daughter in law Moya, grandchildren, Lisa, Karen, James, Katie, Sean, Aoife, Catherine, Shauna, Joseph and Mary and her great grandchildren Dylan, Cassie, Bonnie-Lou, Auguistee and Ben.
