Anne McCormack

Moynalty, Meath / South Circular Road, Dublin / Cavan

Anne McCormack (nee Smyth), Moynalty, Co. Meath and late of 176, South Circular Road, Dublin died on Saturday 20th July 2024, following a short illness, in the tender care of the staff and nurses of Our Lady's Hospital, Navan.

Predeceased by her husband Tommy, brother Philly, sisters Kathleen, Imelda and Bridie.

Anne, beloved wife of the late Tommy and loving mother of Eddie and Mary. Very sadly missed by her family, son in law Fintan, grandchildren Audrey (Sean), Ashling, Evan, Kevin (Shauna), Sinéad and Bryan, sisters Celia and Carmel, brothers Michael, Pat and Tom, sister in law Anne, great grandchildren, nephews, nieces, relatives and friends.

May Anne Rest In Peace.

Reposing at her daughter's (Mary) residence in Moynalty (eircode A82N472) this Wednesday afternoon from 2pm with removal at 7.30 to arrive in St. Mary's Church, Moynalty at 8pm. Funeral Mass on Thursday morning at 11o'clock followed by burial in the adjoining cemetery.

A special word of thanks to the staff of Kilmainham Wood Nursing Home for their wonderful care of Anne over the last seven years.

MAY O’CONNOR (née Rudden) St Mary’s Terrace, Ballyleague, Co Roscommon and formerly of Ballyconnell, Co Cavan. July 21st, 2024; (Peacefully); surrounded by her loving family, in the devoted care of the staff at the Sacred Heart Care Home, Roscommon. Beloved wife of the late Jerry, dear mother of the recently deceased Jeremy and mother-in-law of the recently deceased Sean. She will be very sadly missed by her loving daughters Betty Hanley and Eileen Hughes, son Bernard, sister Kathleen Campbell (Longford), son-in-law Garry, daughters-in-law Mary and Cora, her 10 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren, nieces Caitriona and Annemarie, nephew Larry, extended family, neighbours and friends.

May she rest in peace.

Reposing at Smyth’s Funeral Home, Roscommon on Tuesday evening from 6 o’c until 8 o’c. Mass of the Resurrection in the Church of the Holy Rosary, Ballyleague on Wednesday at 12 o’c. Burial afterwards in Cloontuskert Cemetery.

The O’Connor family would sincerely like to thank the staff at the Sacred Heart Care Home for their wonderful care of May during her time there. They would also like to thank their relatives and friends for their kindness at this time.

The death has occurred of Eugene Greenan, Killeevan Glebe, Newbliss, Co. Monaghan, (H18 H529), peacefully at home surrounded by his loving family, Sunday 21st July 2024. Predeceased by his parents Peter and Josephine, his sisters Christine, Veronica, Maureen and Stella and his brothers Bernard, Peter and Patrick. Cherished and much loved husband of Aideen. Eugene will be sadly missed and remembered with love by his wife, his sons and daughters, Darren (Fidelma, Killeevan), Fabian (Dawn, Ayr, Scotland), Olin (Anna, New Zealand), Lucinda (Gerard, New Zealand) and Blanche (John, Tallaght, Dublin), his adored grandchildren Nicole, Macayla, Katelyn, Conor, Jessika, Wallace, Finn, Jack, Noah, Laoise, Isla, Ava, Sophia, Orla and Leo, his sisters Dot (Boylan,Glaslough) and Isobel (Hamilton, USA), sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, extended family, wonderful neighbours, his many friends and by all who knew and loved Eugene.

Eugene will be resting at the family home, Killeevan Glebe, Newbliss Co. Monaghan (H18 H529), on Monday 22nd from 4pm to 9pm, Tuesday 23rd from 4pm to 9pm and again on Wednesday 24th from 4pm to 9pm (family time at all other times please, including Thursday morning) with removal on Thursday morning 25th, at approx 10.15am to St. Laobhin's Chapel, Killeevan for 11am Funeral Mass. Burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery. Eugene' funeral cortège to the chapel will travel on foot from the family home.

The death has occurred of Eaver Mc Mahon, Knockaturley, Monaghan, Sunday 21st July, peacefully, at Drumbear nursing home, surrounded by his loving family. Pre deceased by his loving wife Marian, baby grandson Ultán, sister Bridie, parents Edward and Margaret, brothers-in-law Sean Clerkin and Seamus Fanning. Deeply regretted and sadly missed by his loving family, sons Eamon (Patricia), Heber (Shereen),daughters Margaret (Eamon) and Clare (Conall), grandchildren; Molly, Amy, Jack, Kate, Séadanta, Eve, Charlie and Finn, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nephews and nieces, relatives and a large circle of friends.
