The death has occurred of Eaver Mc Mahon, Knockaturley, Monaghan, Sunday 21th July, peacefully, at Drumbear nursing home, surrounded by his loving family. Pre deceased by his loving wife Marian, baby grandson Ultan, sister Bridie, parents Edward and Margaret, brothers in law Sean Clerkin and Seamus Fannin. Deeply regretted and sadly missed by his loving family, sons Eamon (Patricia), Heber (Shereen),daughters Margaret (Eamon) and Clare (Conall), grandchildren; Molly, Amy, Jack, Kate, Sedanta, Eve, Charlie and Finn, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nephews and nieces, relatives and a large circle of friends.

The death has occurred of Lucy Finlay, Friday 19th July peacefully at her home, surrounded by loving her family. Predeceased by her parents James & Josephine, her brothers, Patrick (Paddy) and Brian and sisters Josephine (Josie) and Maura.

Lucy will be forever loved and remembered by her husband Eugene and very sadly missed by her children, Dominic, Alison (Ashley), Garreth (Emma), Emma (Jason) and Nicola (Frank), as well as her beloved dog Maple. Her grandchildren Charlie, Poppy and Willow will forever cherish the memories they have of their grandmother. She will be sorely missed by her sister Dympna and brother Seamus (Monica) and her many nieces and nephews.

Lucy will repose at her home in Tullygillen, Monaghan (H18 RR44) on Sunday 21st from 4pm until 8pm. House private at all other times please to give the family the respect and time to spend with Lucy.

Lucy's funeral procession will arrive on Monday morning 22nd to St Michael's Church, Corcaghan for 11am funeral mass, with burial immediately afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.Family flowers only please, donations in lieu if desired to palliative care via any family member or Mc Kenna Undertakers.

Please note there will be a shuttle bus in operation from the car park at Corcaghan Community Centre.

The family wish to sincerely thank the staff of Ballybay Healthcare Unit, all the home-help care staff, the HSE public health nursing team, and the palliative care team for the exceptional care that Lucy received over the last year. The family will be forever grateful.

Bridget McKenna (Hughie)

Derrykinnighbeg, Emyvale, Monaghan, H18 NT92

The death has occurred of Bridget McKenna (Hughie), Derrykinnighbeg, Emyvale, Co. Monaghan, H18 NT92. Friday 19th July, peacefully at her home, surrounded by her loving family.

Predeceased by her parents James and Roseanne, brothers Pat and Seamus, sisters Kathleen and Annie, and son in law Noel.

Bridget will be sadly missed and fondly remembered by her husband Harry, daughters Bernie & Caroline (Pat), sons Paul (Szandra) and Mark, her grandchildren, great grandchildren, sisters Rosie Hughes and Mary McGee, extended family and friends.

Bridget's remains will repose at her home in Derrykinnighbeg (H18 NT92) from 3pm Saturday (20th) and on Sunday (21st) from 12 Noon. Family and friends only on Monday morning please. Funeral Mass on Monday morning at 11am at The Sacred Heart Church, Carrickroe. Burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.

(née McCaughan)

Legacurry House, Legacurry, Monaghan, H18NV63 / Ballycastle, Antrim

and formerly Ballycastle, Co. Antrim, July 19th 2024, peacefully at her home, surrounded by her loving family.

Predeceased by her sister Paula.

Sadly missed by her loving husband Jim, sons Myles and Alan daughters Aoife and Kate, sisters Nano, Jane and Oula, grandchildren, daughters in law, nephews, nieces, relatives and friends.

May she rest in peace.

Reposing at her home on Sunday (21/07/2024) from 4 p.m. until 8 p.m. and on Monday (22/07/2024) from 4 p.m. until 8 p.m. Shuttle bus from Corracrin Church during wake time.

Removal on Tuesday (23/07/2024) at 10.15 a.m. arriving at St. Patrick’s Church, Corracrin for funeral Mass at 11 a.m.

The death has occurred of Patricia Ward (née Carey). Parkmount, Cookstown, Co. Tyrone & formerly Rockdaniel Road, Carrickmacross. 20th July 2024. Peacefully, surrounded by her beloved family, at Antrim Area Hospital.

Predeceased by her husband Albie, her parents Denis & Mary, her brothers Michael, Martin & Brian and her sisters Frances & Moira.

Sadly missed and remembered with love by her beloved family; her sons Andrew, Eoin (Eileen) & Conor (Anne-Marie), her much-loved grandchildren Christopher, Daniel, Rachel, Grace & Emma, her sister Monica, her extended family, friends and neighbours.
