PJ Farrelly

Entered eternal life 16 July 2024.

The death has occurred peacefully of PJ Farrelly, The Bungalow, Correagh, Virginia, Co. Cavan, 16 July 2024, peacefully at his home, surrounded by his loving family.

Predeceased by his parents Tommy and Bridie, his sons Thomas and Philip, his beloved brother Sean and his sons in law David and Jimmy.

Much loved husband of Bernie and adored father of Bridie, Rosemarie, Geraldine and Ogie.

Sadly missed by his loving wife, his daughters and son, his cherished grandchildren - Jamie,Jack, Joey, Dara, Harry, Fionán, Cormac, Cillian, Fiachra, Karl, Emma and Kate, his daughter in law Andrea, his son in law Ciaran, nephews, nieces, sisters in law, brother in law, good neighbours, relatives and friends.

Rest In Peace.

The Farrelly family respectfully request that the family home remains private at this time.

As a mark of respect to the late PJ Farrelly, Lurgan Agri Supplies will close at 2 pm on Wednesday and remain closed until Saturday morning.

Died Tuesday 16th July 2024 Peacefully in her 98th year at the Tilery Nursing Home, Florencecourt.

Loving Wife of the late Paddy Fitzpatrick and Dear Mother oPeter (Marie), Maura (Malachy), Tony (Una), Michael (Noreen) and the late Eamon and Bernadette (Tom).Predeceased by her Brothers Philp, Tommy, Gerry, Jimmy and sister Bridget deeply regretted by her sorrowing sister Teresa (England)

Sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and extended family circle

Byrne Desmond (Dessie) late of London, England and formerly of Main Street, Blessington, Co. Wicklow and Brackloney, Castleratharn, County Cavan. 1st July 2024. Survived by his brother John Byrne of Hollywood Co. Wicklow and his nieces and nephews, Jimmy, David, John and Joanne Sheridan of Mount Nugent, Co. Cavan and John, Elaine, Catriona, Edel and David Byrne of Hollywood, Co. Wicklow. Predeceased by his parents, John and Josephine Byrne, his brother David Byrne and his sister Marie Sheridan (née Byrne).

Reposing at Clarke's Funeral Home, Burgage More, Blessington on Saturday 20th at 10.00am. Funeral arriving to the Church of Our Lady, Blessington for 12.00 noon Funeral Mass followed by burial in Burgage Cemetery.

Elizabeth Hopkins

Lisanymore, Billis, Virginia, Cavan

Entered eternal life 15 July 2024.

The death has occurred of Elizabeth Hopkins, Lisanymore, Billis, Virginia, Co. Cavan, peacefully at Fairlawns Nursing Home, Bailieborough in her 88th year. Predeceased by her daughter Margaret, her granddaughter Pamela and her brother James. Much loved mother of Sean. Deeply regretted by her loving son Sean and his wife Philomena, her cherished grandchildren John, Sabrina, Edwina, Michaela, Charmane, Andrea, Aaron, Rachel, Dawn and Warren and her cherished great-grandchildren, son in law Martin, relatives and friends.

Reposing at Matthews Funeral Home, Bailieborough Road, Virginia (A82YV58) on Wednesday evening from 6 o'clock until prayers at 8 o'clock. Removal to St. Mary's Church, Glanaphillip on Thursday morning arriving for 11 o'clock Funeral Mass with burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.

May Elizabeth's Gentle Soul Rest Eternal Peace.

Cathal Lavery

Mullaliss, Glaslough, Monaghan, H18PV24

The death has occurred of Cathal Lavery, Mullaliss, Glaslough, Co. Monaghan, Tuesday 16th July peacefully, surrounded by his family in the wonderful care of the staff in Monaghan Hospital. Predeceased by his parents Harry & Bridie.

Cathal will be forever loved by his heartbroken wife Amanda and his cherished children Conor & Rachel. He will be sorely missed by his brothers Brian (Bernie), Dermot (Jennifer), Martin (Sally) and sister Agnes (Finian) A loving uncle to Sean, Orla, Niall, Paul, Fáinché, Áedammair, Aisling and Gary who will always treasure their beautiful memories of him, his extended family, neighbours, friends and all who knew and loved him

Cathal will repose at his home in Mullaliss, Glaslough (H18PV24) on Wednesday (17th) & Thursday (18th) from 4pm until 9pm. Cathal’s funeral procession will arrive on Friday morning (19th) to St Mary's Church, Glennan, for 11am Funeral Mass, with burial in adjoining cemetery. Funeral Mass will be live streamed here.

Family flowers only, please. Donations in lieu, if desired, to "The Irish Heart Foundation” c/o Clerkins Funeral Home or by donation box.

Margaret Mc Cague

Iterera, Scotstown, Monaghan

The death has occurred of Margaret Mc Cague, Iterera, Scotstown, Co Monaghan, Tuesday 16th July, peacefully surrounded by her adored family in the wonderful care of the staff in Cavan General Hospital. Predeceased by her son Gerard, brother Billy and her parents Mary Agnes & Sam Allister.

Margaret will be forever loved and remembered by her husband Gerard and her treasured sons & daughters, Frankie (Majella), Brenda (Frankie), David (Karen) and Laura (Stephen). Her grandchildren Emma, Éanna, Dáithí Óg,James, Niamh, Conor, Heidi and Cody will forever treasure the memories they have of their grandmother. Margaret will be sorely missed by her sisters, Ann, Mary, Nora, Bernadette, Kathleen, Pauline and her brothers Frank, Joe and Noel.

Margaret will repose at Clerkins Funeral Home (H18YF22) on Wednesday (17th) from 1pm with concluding prayers at 8pm. Margaret's funeral procession will leave her home on Thursday morning at 10:30am to arrive at St Marys Church Urbleshanny, for 11am funeral mass. Margaret will be buried alongside her son in adjoining cemetery. Funeral Mass will be live streamed on Tydavnet RC Facebook page.

Patrick McGinnity

27 Curragh Lane Derrynoose, Derrynoose, Armagh, BT603HB / Keady, Armagh / Monaghan Town, Monaghan

McGinnity (Derrynoose Co Armagh) July 11th 2024 unexpectedly at home Patrick RIP. Beloved son of the late Michael and Kathleen RIP and cherished brother to Elizabeth.

His remains will arrive at his late residence 27 Curragh Lane Derrynoose BT603HB today (Tuesday) at approximately 5pm to repose there until removal on Thursday to arrive at St Mochua's Church Derrynoose for 11am funeral Mass. Burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery

Deeply regretted by his entire family circle and many friends.

On his soul sweet Jesus have mercy.
