Elizabeth Hopkins

Entered eternal life 15 July 2024.

The death has occurred of Elizabeth Hopkins, Lisanymore, Billis, Virginia, Co. Cavan, peacefully at Fairlawns Nursing Home, Bailieborough in her 88th year. Predeceased by her daughter Margaret, her granddaughter Pamela and her brother James. Much loved mother of Sean. Deeply regretted by her loving son Sean and his wife Philomena, her cherished grandchildren John, Sabrina, Edwina, Michaela, Charmane, Andrea, Aaron, Rachel, Dawn and Warren and her cherished great-grandchildren, son in law Martin, relatives and friend­s.

McGinnity (Derrynoose Co Armagh) July 11th 2024 unexpectedly at home Patrick RIP. Beloved son of the late Michael and Kathleen RIP and cherished brother to Elizabeth.

His remains will arrive at his late residence 27 Curragh Lane Derrynoose BT603HB today (Tuesday) at approximately 5pm to repose there until removal on Thursday to arrive at St Mochua's Church Derrynoose for 11am funeral Mass. Burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery

Deeply regretted by his entire family circle and many friends.

On his soul sweet Jesus have mercy.

Gerard Lappin

Tassagh, Armagh / Monaghan

Lappin, Gerard (Armaghbreague, Co. Armagh) July 13th 2024 peacefully in the RVH hospital surrounded by his family. Beloved husband of Pauline and devoted father to Colleen (McGurgan), Shane, Liam and Grainne (McElearney). Father-in-law to Benny, Aideen & Garrett and cherished grandfather to Áine, Cara, Eoin, Ava, Lauren, Oran & Róise.

His remains will repose at his home, 27 Armaghbreague Rd., Tassagh, Co. Armagh, BT60 2NS from this evening (Monday) until removal on Wednesday to arrive at St Mary's Church, Granemore for 11am requiem mass. Burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery. Family welcome visitors to their home on Monday and Tuesday between 11am until 11pm. House private on morning of the funeral.

Deeply regretted by his loving wife, sons, daughters, grandchildren, brother, sisters and the entire family circle and many friends.

John O'Reilly

Ashlea House, Shercock Road, Carrickmacross, Monaghan

The death has occurred of John O’Reilly, Ashlea House, Shercock Road, Carrickmacross, Co. Monaghan. Master Butcher, formerly O’Reilly’s Butchers, O’Neill Street. Peacefully surrounded by his loving family at Moorehall Lodge, Ardee, Co. Louth, Sunday 14th July 2024. Deeply regretted and sadly missed with love by his loving wife Breedge, his children Jimmy, Sean, Lorna and Ciara, grandchildren, brothers, nephews, nieces, relatives, neighbours and friends.

Reposing at Deery’s Funeral Home, Carrickmacross (A81 C653) on Tuesday from 4pm to 7.30pm. Removal on Wednesday morning from Deery’s Funeral Home at 10.30am on foot to St. Joseph’s Church, Carrickmacross (A81 K253) arriving for Requiem Mass at 11am. Burial afterwards in St. Joseph’s Cemetery, Carrickmacross.

Bernard Rennick

Lis na Dara, Carrick Road, Dundalk, Louth / Haggardstown, Louth / Monaghan

Bernard Rennick, Lis na Dara, Carrick Road, and late of “Renmel”, Dublin Road, Haggardstown and “Stone Cottage” Main Street, Castlebellingham. In the kind and tender care of St Oliver's Nursing Home, surrounded by his loving family. 15th July 2024. Bernard is predeceased by his cherished grandchildren Sadhbh and Patrick, his parents Thomas and Annie née Hanratty, his sisters Dorrie and Mary, his brother Patrick in childhood. Forever loved and deeply missed by his wife, and best friend Mary nee Mellaley (Ballybay, Co. Monaghan) his treasured children Katrine Sheahan, Bernard, Shane and Éadaoin Mc Veigh, devoted grandad to Darragh, Cillian, Doireann, Conáin, Órlaith, Lorcán, Ana and Faoláin, brother of Tom. Bernard will be sadly missed by his loving wife, sons, daughters, grandchildren, brother, sister in law Anne, sons-in-law, Eoin, Ben, and Francis, daughter-in-law Carol, nephews, nieces, relatives, neighbours and friends.

May He Rest in Peace.

Bernard will repose at his daughter Katrine’s home 19 Ard na Greine, Lis na Dara, Carrick Road (A91 KHF2) from 3pm until 8pm on Wednesday. Removal on Thursday afternoon to St. Fursey’s Church, Haggardstown, arriving for Mass at 3pm. Burial afterwards in adjoining cemetery.
