Stock taken from Mullahoran festival grounds

Two cases of vodka and mixers were taken from the Mullahoran GAA grounds last night.

The club is set to hold their annual country music festival this weekend with Cliona Hagan and Derek Ryan set to take to the stage this evening.

Festival organisers have CCTV footage of those who took the stock and have urged them to make contact with the club today to return the stolen goods.

They say there will be no repercussions if the goods are returned. If not, CCTV footage will be handed over to the Gardaí.

The stock was delivered to the grounds yesterday evening.

“There’s a little minivan full of stuff gone,” festival organiser Ciaran Brady said.

“They're on CCTV; we’re hoping to bring them back,” he said.

Ciaran said the club will “wait and see” for the outcome before deciding when to go to the guards with the footage.

“The problem is there’s going to be somebody around the grounds all day today so they’re not going to get dropping it back,” he said, adding that there will be somebody on the grounds throughout the weekend.
