Kyte Powertech celebrates Cavan GAA All-Stars
Kyte Powertech is proud to announce its support for the Cavan GAA All-Stars programme. Recently, the All-Stars committee provided an unforgettable experience for the All-Stars at Croke Park. This event, held during halftime of the GAA Football All-Ireland Senior Championship quarter-final, on Sunday June 30, saw the All-Stars take to the pitch, creating memories that will last a lifetime.
The Cavan GAA All-Stars programme is designed specifically for children up to the age of 16 years with additional needs. It spans seven hubs across Cavan County and involves over 80 children, supported by more than 100 dedicated volunteers. The programme’s primary goal is to allow these children to engage in sports, develop their ball skills, exercise, and, most importantly, have fun in a safe and inclusive environment.
Another significant aim is to promote the ethos of inclusion within the community and local clubs.
The highlight of this initiative was the recent event at Croke Park. The All Stars enjoyed the full Croke Park experience, complete with their own dressing room, meeting the Croke Park team, and being cheered on by the crowd. The children showcased their skills and enthusiasm for the sport, teamwork, and community spirit, scoring numerous goals and receiving an overwhelming response from the spectators.
This event not only brought immense joy to the children but also filled their parents and coaches with pride.
“We are thrilled to support such a meaningful programme that aligns with our commitment to community and inclusion,” said Stephanie Leonard, CEO of Kyte Powertech.
“Seeing the smiles on the children’s faces and the pride in their parents’ eyes was truly heart-warming. This event highlights the importance of providing opportunities for all children to shine and be celebrated.”
Kyte Powertech’s involvement in the Cavan GAA All-Stars programme underscores the company’s dedication to fostering a strong sense of community and supporting initiatives that promote inclusivity and active participation.
