Drumcon , Cornafean, Co. Cavan.

Tuesday July 2nd peacefully in the tender loving care of the staff in Oakview Nursing Home, Belturbet.

Predeceased by her husband Cecil and brother Willie.

Iris will be sadly missed by her nephews, niece, cousins, relatives, neighbours and friends.

Resting in Lakelands Funeral Home, Dublin Road, Cavan this evening, Wednesday from 8.30pm until 9.30pm.

Removal from Lakelands Funeral Home, Dublin Road, Cavan tomorrow Thursday arriving at Killeshandra Parish Church at 3pm for Funeral service followed by burial in the adjoining graveyard.

Mary Brady (née Briody), Garrymore, Ballinagh, Co Cavan, Monday July1st, peacefully at Cavan General Hospital, surrounded by her loving family. Pre-deceased by her parents Tom and Bridie. Beloved wife of Danny and devoted mother of Niall, loving sister of Patsy (Eileen), Kate (Joe), Carmel (Sean), Donal (Tina), Jacinta (Kieran), Breda, Thomas (Patricia), Declan (Louise) and Grainne (Damien). Sadly missed by her loving husband, son, brothers, sisters, brothers in law, sisters in law, aunts, uncle, nieces, nephews, grand-nieces, grand-nephews, cousins, relatives and many friends.

Reposing at Lakelands Funeral Home, Dublin Road, Cavan, tomorrow Wednesday, from 5.00pm until 8.00pm. Removal from her home on Thursday morning, July 4th, to arrive at St Michael's Church, Potahee for Requiem Mass at 11.00am, Interment afterwards in adjoining cemetery.

House private to family, neighbours and close friends.

Family flowers only please, Donations in lieu, if desired, to I.C.U Cavan General Hospital or Cuan Cancer Care.

Portacloghan, Milltown, Belturbet, Cavan

Frank Connell, Portacloghan, Milltown, Belturbet, Co. Cavan and New Jersey USA died peacefully surrounded by his family in Cavan General Hospital on the 2nd of July 2024, after a short illness. Predeceased by his mother Rita, father Thomas, brothers and sisters. Deeply regretted and sadly missed by his heartbroken family – his sons Frankie, Clarke, daughters, Vicky and Micaela, granddaughter Shauna, his sisters Bernie O’Rourke and Mary Cullen, nieces, nephews and friends.

Rest in Peace.

Remains will be reposing at Lawlors Funeral Home (eircode H14 R583) on Wednesday evening 3rd July from 5.00pm until prayers at 7.00pm. Remains will arrive for Funeral Mass at 12 noon on Thursday at St. Patrick’s Church, Milltown with cremation afterwards in Lakelands crematorium.

2nd July (peacefully) at home surrounded by her loving family.

Pre-deceased by her parents Michael and Molly Tully, sister Rosemary (Galway) and her beloved granddaughter Kate Molly.

Deeply regretted and sadly missed by her loving and devoted family, husband Gerry, daughters Carol (Monaghan) and Claire Colum (Strokestown), sons Shane (Leitrim Village), and Gerard (Carrick-on-Shannon), daughter-in-law Cathy, son-in-law Mattie and Carol’s partner Seamus, adored grandchildren Shay, Finn, Emma, Matthew, James, Aoife and Daniel, her loving sisters Bernie and Geraldine (Belturbet), brothers Peadar and Eugene (Belturbet), brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours, and a large circle of friends.

Phil will repose at The Heritage Centre, Chapel of Rest, Church Lane, Carrick-on-Shannon (N41 KP62) on Thursday, 4th of July, from 4pm until 8pm.

With removal to St. Mary’s Church, Carrick-on-Shannon on Friday morning arriving for Mass of Christian burial at 12 o’clock followed by burial in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Carrick-on-Shannon.

Angela Rowley (nee McEvoy), Crosserlough, Co. Cavan. Monday July 1st (peacefully) surrounded by her loving family at Cavan General Hospital. Predeceased by her parents, sisters, brothers and her husband Benny. Sadly missed by her daughter Geraldine (Paul), sons Noel (Alison), Tony (Angie), Joe (Angela) and David (Diane), sister Una, grandchildren Stacey, Kate, Naomi, Ben, Blathnaid, Darren, Alex, Laura and Charlotte, great-grandchildren Finnan, Lily, Teddy, Jack, Ellie and Lewis, brother in law Joe, nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours and friends.

Reposing at her home (A82 CY92) on Wednesday 3rd from 12pm - 5pm, family time thereafter please. Removal on Wednesday evening from her home to St. Mary`s Church, Crosserlough arriving at 7pm. Funeral Mass on Thursday at 12noon. Burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.

Hugh, Patrick Conway

Annareagh and Ballinaman, Glaslough, Monaghan

The death has occurred of Hugh Patrick Conway, Annareagh and Ballinaman, Glaslough, Co. Monaghan. Peacefully in the tender care of his family and staff of Drumbear Lodge Nursing Home, Monaghan on Tuesday, the 2nd of July 2024. Lovingly remembered by his wife Alice and family in England, Clare, Tyrone and his wide circle of friends.

Hugh will repose in E.C. Hughes' Funeral Home, Middletown on Tuesday, the 2nd, and Wednesday the 3rd of July, from 3pm to 7pm. Removal at 7.15pm Wednesday to St Mary’s Church, Glennan, Glaslough for 8pm prayers and overnight reposal. Funeral Mass on Thursday morning at 11am with burial afterwards in adjoining cemetery. House Private at all times.
