Cavan most 'trend setting' town in Ireland

Click your heels ladies…Cavan has just been announced as is the most trend-setting town in Ireland!

The news emerged this morning from a study that analysed Google searches for a list of keywords, including but not limited to ‘summer dress’, ‘denim skirt’, ‘flare jeans’ and ‘Louis Vuitton bag’ to determine the most stylish locations in Ireland.

The locations with the highest average monthly search volume per 10,000 people have been named the most fashionable.

It appears Cavan is leading the way in the fashion stakes but is just ahead of Ballina, Kildare, Longford and Castlebar all of whom rank in the top five most fashionable locations in the country.

Bray, meanwhile, is the location least enthusiastic about fashion, followed by Waterford and Cork.

According to the Study, Cavan town has an average monthly search volume of 1,510 per 10,000 people, 63% above the national average of 928 per 10,000 people. ‘Dress’ is the most popular term with 132 searches per month. ‘Debs dress’ and ‘summer dress’ are next respectively. Elsewhere, Ballina’s search volume is 1,431; Kildare, 1,391; Longford, 1,388; and Castlebar, 1,277.
