Peacefully at Esker Lodge Nursing Home. Predeceased by his parents Peter & Lily and sister Gertie. Deeply regretted by his loving sisters and brother Mary, Margaret, Dympna, Bernadette (USA), Philip (Drumkilly), Eileen (Druminacoe, Drumkilly), and Nuala (Dundalk), brothers-in-law, nephews, nieces, relatives, neighbours and friends especially Nancy.

Reposing at Lakeland’s Funeral Home, Dublin Road, Cavan on Friday from 5.30pm to 7pm. Removal on Saturday to arrive at St. Dympna’s Church, Lower Lavey for Funeral Mass at 12noon, burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery. John Pat’s Funeral Mass can be viewed on www.churchtv.ie/lavey

Victor Kane

Lisanymore, Virginia, Cavan

Victor Kane, Lisanymore, Virginia, Co. Cavan, peacefully in the loving care of his family and staff at Cavan General Hospital, Wednesday, 19th June 2024. Beloved husband of Sandra (nee Shekleton), loving father to Isabell (Damien), Irene and Richard (Hollie), adored grandfather to Noah, Phoebe and Amy. Predeceased by his parents William and Winnifred also his sister Hilda. Sadly missed by his heartbroken family, brothers John and James, sisters June, Deirdre and Lorna, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours and friends.

Reposing at Matthews Funeral Home, Bailieborough Rd., Virginia, (A82YV58) on Friday evening from 5pm until 8pm. Funeral service in Billis Parish Church (A82FN25) on Saturday at 2pm with burial afterwards in the adjoining Churchyard. Family flowers only please, donations, if so desired, to Dialysis Unit Cavan General Hospital care of Freddie Kettyle undertaker or any family member. House private please.

Formerly of Belturbet, Co. Cavan, Cheltenham and London.

Late member of Waterford Bridge Club.

Pat will be sadly missed by his wife Phil, his loving family, neighbours and his wonderful friends.

Sadly missed by his loving brothers Paddy, Oliver and Jimmy, his sisters Anne and Maureen, sisters-in-law brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

Reposing at Lakelands Funeral Home, Dublin Road, Cavan, on Thursday, June 20th, from 5.00pm until 7.00pm. Requiem Mass on Friday, June 21st, at 11.00am, in St Dympna's Church, Lower Lavey, followed by Cremation in Lakelands Crematorium, Dublin Road, Cavan.

Adrian (Aidie) Sheridan

Toghernaross, Kilcogy, Cavan

Adrian (Aidie) Sheridan, Toghernaross, Kilcogy, Co. Cavan. Died on Wednesday 19th June 2024 following an accident. Sadly missed by his heartbroken wife Gemma, children Olly, Jake, Danny, and Joey, parents Pat and Carmel, brother Paul (Pamela), sisters Tracy (Danny), Claire (Jim), Tricia (Ronan), Sarah (Mark), Mary (Brian), parents in-law Michael and Agnes, brother-in-law Jack, Aunts, Uncles, nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours and a large circle of close friends.

May he rest in peace.

Reposing at his home (N39C7W2) on Thursday from 4pm to 8pm and on Friday from 4pm to 8 pm. Funeral Mass on Saturday in Our Lady of Lourdes Church, Mullahoran at 1pm. Internment afterwards in adjoining cemetery.
