Bright and sunny spells forecast with showers later

There will be bright and sunny spells with scattered showers today according to Met Éireann.

Skies are expected to cloud over from the west later, with a spell of more persistent rain spreading eastwards this evening.

Expect highs of 13 to 16 degrees today with mostly light to moderate winds, which will increase to fresh to strong and occasionally gusty later today near the west coast.

Tonight’s outlook shows cloud and outbreaks of rain and drizzle which will continue to push eastwards over Ulster early tonight followed by further showers, some heavy. Lowest temperatures will be 6 to 9 degrees with light to moderate westerly winds, fresh to strong near the west coast.

Tomorrow will bring a mix of cloud and sunny spells along with scattered showers, some heavy. Highest temperatures will be 14 to 17 degrees with light to moderate winds.
