Shekleton and Cosgrove in relegation battle

All eyes are on Kristofer Shekleton (II) and Garry Cosgrove (Ind) for the thrilling count #4 in Bailieborough Cootehill.

Cosgrove ate into Shekleton's lead. Cosgrove got 111 transfers - presumably chiefly from fellow Cootehill protestor Fiona McCormack (Ind) redistribution.

The 74 claimed by Kingscourt's Shekleton man - presumably chiefly from McEntee's (SF) redistribution - to keep him just a mere three votes ahead.

There's only 12 votes up for grabs from Carmel Brady's surplus - however, will three of those votes go to fellow Cootehill man Garry Cosgrove.

I say thrilling but ultimately it's all academic, really because it would be miraculous if either were to hang on long enough to claim a council seat in the area. The nearest candidate is Paddy McDonald (SF) who gained 131 votes to leave him on 905 as compared to the low 700s of Shekleton and Cosgrove.
