Eamon Brady

It is with deep sadness and heartbreak we announce the death of Eamon our beloved husband, dad and brother. Eamon passed away surrounded by his heartbroken family and nursing staff at Cavan General Hospital on Tuesday 4th June. Loving husband to Mairead, Devoted Dad to his cherished children Ellie, Emmett, Jessica and Darren. Beloved brother of Sean, Patrick, Gerard (Angela), Eugene (Valerie), Michael (Sabrina) & Phelim (Teresa), Nieces & Nephews, brothers in law Tommy, Edward (Cindy), Kieran (Gina), sister in law Rosemary (Paul) and their two children Lucas and Danny who had such fun with Eamon. Predeceased by his parents Thomas & Christina and brother Thomas..

May Eamon Rest In Peace.

Reposing at his home (A82D635) on Wednesday 5th June from 4pm to 9pm.

A celebration of Eamon's life will take place at Finnegan's Funeral home, Dublin Road,

Cavan (H12 RF78) on Thursday 6th at 3pm, followed by cremation in Lakelands Crematorium.

Car parking available on Wednesday evening at Lavey Gaelic football grounds.

House private on Thursday morning please.

Delia (Bridget) Clinton

Lisduff, Kilnaleck, Cavan

Delia (Bridget) Clinton, Lisduff, Kilnaleck, Co. Cavan, Tuesday, June 4th, peacefully, at home surrounded by her loving family. Predeceased by her sister Kitty, brothers Ned and Pat and sister in law Veronica. Sadly missed by her niece Gloria (Mickey), nephew Padraig (Suzanne), grand nieces Noelle and Amy, relatives, neighbours and friends.

May She Rest In Peace.

Reposing at Briody's Funeral Home, Kilnaleck on Wednesday, June 5th, from 6pm to 7.30pm. Removal from her home on Thursday morning to St. Mary's Church, Ballynarry for Funeral Mass at 12 noon. Burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.

Philip Fitzsimons

Cornaslieve, Virginia, Cavan / Armagh

The death has occurred of Philip Fitzsimons, Armagh and formerly Cornaslieve, Virginia, Co. Cavan, on the 3rd June 2024.

Deeply regretted and sadly missed by his loving parents Jimmy and Ann Marie, his brothers Barry (Orlaith) and Ronan (Lolita), his son Faolán, his aunts, uncles, niece, nephews, cousins, relatives and friends.

Rest In Peace

Reposing at Matthews Funeral Home, Bailieborough Road, Virginia (A82YV58) on Thursday from 5 o'clock until prayers at 8 o'clock. Removal to Mary Immaculate Church, Virginia on Friday morning arriving for 11 o'clock Funeral Mass, followed by private cremation in Lakelands Crematorium Cavan.

Family flowers only please. Donations in lieu if desired to Virginia Cancer Care Fund by donation envelope c/o Matthews Funeral Directors.

Philip's family respectfully request that their family home is strictly private at all times.

Elizabeth (Betty) Hayes

(née Fitzpatrick)

Derryerry, Belturbet, Cavan / Inchigeelagh, Cork

The death has occurred of Elizabeth (Betty) Hayes (née Fitzpatrick/ Ní Giolla Phádraig) Four Oaks, Sutton Coalfield, Birmingham, England / formerly Derryerry, Belturbet, Co Cavan.

Peacefully at her residence in Birmingham Sunday 2 June 2024.

Predeceased by her beloved husband Eamon (Ballingeary, Inchigeelagh Cork) and son Denis, her parents Teresa and Hugh, brothers Eamon, John and Martin.

Deeply regretted and sadly missed by her beloved daughter Wendy, son Sean, brothers Hugh (Eagie), Matthew (Matty) and Leo, Sisters Madeline, Meresa, Beatrice and Christine, Son-in-law John, Daughter-in-law Stephanie, grandchildren Sammy, Joseph, Thomas, Joshua, Max, Ruby, Jasper and Harriett, brothers – in- law, sisters-in-law, nephews , nieces, neighbours, relatives and friends.

May she Rest in Eternal Peace.

Francis McKenna

Aughacla, Tydavnet, Monaghan

The death has occurred of Francis McKenna, Aughacla, Tydavnet, Co. Monaghan. Sunday, 2nd June, unexpectedly at Connolly Hospital, Dublin.

Pre-deceased by his parents Francis & Kathleen and brothers Patrick & Michael.

Sadly missed and fondly remembered by his brother James (Alice), sisters Annie (Tom Smyth), Bridie (Sean McMeel) and Mary (Phelim McKenna), nieces, nephews, grandnieces, grandnephews, relatives, neighbours, many friends and all at Killylough Tug-of-War.

May his gentle soul Rest in Peace.

Francis' remains will repose at his residence on Wednesday until removal on Thursday morning to arrive at St.Dympna's Church, Tydavnet for Funeral Mass at 11am, Burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery. Family and friends only at Francis' home on Thursday morning please. Family flowers only please.
