Died Sunday, 2nd June 2024, peacefully in hospital, surrounded by her loving family.

Loving daughter of Patricia (Pat) and the late Stephen (R.I.P.).

Beloved wife of Sean and loving mother to Dylan and Joe. Sister of Fiona Devers (Peter) and Predeceased by her brother Darren (R.I.P).

Dearly loved daughter in law to Ann and Ollie Swift.

Finola Sweeney (née Lynch)

Omard, Kilnaleck, Cavan

Saturday June 1st, (peacefully), at home in her 90th year.

Predeceased by her husband Pat, brother Fergus and sister Dympna. Much loved Mother of Kevin (Margaret), Finbarr, Mel (Caroline), Brendan (Ciara), Ita (Raymond), Paddy (Olive) and Enda. Sadly missed by her adored grandchildren Niall, Hannah, Katie, Liam, Sinead, Meave, Niamh, Paul, Daniel and Sean, nieces, nephews, relatives, friends and neighbours.

Removal from her home on Monday to St. Mary's Church, Ballinarry, for Funeral Mass at 12 noon. Burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.

Mary (Polly) Judge (née Smith)

Drogheda, Louth / Moynalty, Meath

1st June 2024. Passed away peacefully, in the wonderful care of the team at Medical 1 Ward, Louth County Hospital, Dundalk, surrounded by her loving family.

Predeceased by her Mother and Father, Mary Ann and Tom Smith, her dear husband Jim Judge and her brother Tom Smith.

Very sadly missed by her devoted family, children, Mary, Martina and Jim.

Grandchildren Hannah and Matthew, sons in law Philip and Paul.

Sisters Bridget (USA), Julia and Peggy, brothers Patsy, Peter (England), Mickey and Eugene. Nieces, nephews, extended family, neighbours and a wide circle of friends.

Reposing at Townley’s Funeral Home, Crosslanes, Drogheda (A92XN75) on Tuesday from 4.30pm until 7pm.

Funeral Mass on Wednesday morning at 12 noon in St. Mary’s Church, James Street, Drogheda.

Burial afterwards in Calvary Cemetery.

Family flowers only, donations if desired to a charity of your choice.

Bridget (Delia) O'Higgins (née Mooney)

Crossakiel Heights, Kells, Meath

2nd June 2024. Peacefully at her home, surrounded by her loving family in her 92nd year. Predeceased by her husband Paddy.

Bridget will be sadly missed by her family Peter, Mary, Jimmy, Rita, Patrick, Fergus, Deirdre and Jennifer, her 20 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren, her sons-in-law, daughters-in-law, nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

Reposing at her residence on Tuesday afternoon from 4pm to 8pm, house private at all other times, please.

Removal on Wednesday morning at 11.30am to arrive at St. Alphonsus Liguori Church, Kilskyre, for funeral Mass at 12 noon. Burial afterwards in St. Colmcille's Cemetery, Kells.

Family flowers only please, donations, if desired, to Meath Palliative Care.

Edward (Eddie) Kirk

Corlat, Monaghan Town, Monaghan / Inniskeen, Monaghan

Peacefully on 1st June.

Predeceased by his parents James and Mary, brothers Paddy, Gerry and John, sister Mary, and nephews Ciaran, Martin and Michael.

Sadly missed and remembered with love by his family, wife Imelda, children Fiona and Niall, their partners and his much loved grandchildren, his sister Briege, aunt Cassie, sister-in-law, brother-in-law, nephews, nieces, relatives, friends and neighbours.

Eddie will repose at Magee’s funeral home, Inniskeen, on Monday, 3rd June, from 4pm to 8pm.

Funeral Mass will be held at Mary Mother of Mercy Church, Inniskeen, at 11am Tuesday, 4th June, followed by a private cremation.

Died 1st June 2024, peacefully at home, in the loving care of his family.

Predeceased by his son Liam, his father Patsy, his mother Elizabeth, brothers Liam and Sean.

Deeply regretted by his loving wife Helen, his children Siobhán (Declan), Brendan (Amanda), Norah (Paul), David (Roisin), Patrick, Carmel (Luke), Much adored and cherished 11 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren, his brothers Patsy, and Jimmy, his sisters Anna, Rose, Betty, Margaret and Patricia, his neighbours and large circle of friends.

Reposing at his residence tomorrow Monday from 12 noon to 8pm.

House strictly private at all other times.

Funeral Cortège leaving his residence on Tuesday at 10.30am on foot to arrive at St Mary’s Church, Castleblayney, for 11am funeral Mass and burial immediately afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.

Removal on Wednesday (June 5th) morning to St. Patrick's Church, Donabate arriving for 10 a.m. Mass followed by funeral to St. Patrick's Cemetery, Ballybay, Co. Monaghan.
