Gardaí concerned for well-being of missing teen

Teenager missing since last Tuesday, May 28. One of three missing from region.

Gardaí are concerned for the well-being of a teenage boy missing from the Cavan since Tuesday of this week.

Bobai Carpenter (17) was last seen on May 28. He is known to frequent the Virginia and Dublin city areas

Gardaí are seeking the public's assistance in tracing the whereabouts of Bobai, who was reported missing from his home in Drummuck, Co. Cavan on Tuesday afternoon, at approximately 5.25pm.

Bobai is described as being approximately 5’11 in height, of a slim build, with blue eyes and red hair.

When last seen, Bobai was wearing a grey and black coat with black runners and navy trousers.

He is one of several teens currently missing from the local region.

It was reported that Gardaí are also trying to trace the whereabouts of 15 year old Chloe Lawrence who was last seen in Tonycoogan, Emyvale, Co. Monaghan on the morning of Friday, May 31.

Described as being approximately 5 foot 4 inches in height with a slim build, long brown hair and blue eyes, when last seen Chloe was wearing a dark coloured top, blue leggings and purple runners.

Chloe is known to frequent the Ballymun and Finglas areas of Dublin.

Anyone with any information on whereabouts of any of these missing children are asked to contact their local Garda station, the Garda Confidential Line on 1800 666 111, or any Garda station.

Earlier in the week, Gardaí issued an appeal asking for information about 15-year-old Jennifer (goes by Jade) Halligan, reported missing from her home in Ballyconnell, since Sunday, May 26.

She was last seen on the Main Street in Cavan at 1.15pm that day.

Described as being approximately 5 foot in height, of a slim build, with blue eyes and blue-green hair, when last seen, Jennifer (Jade) was wearing a large grey hoodie, black leggings with black and red shoes.

She is believed to be in the Dublin city area.

Once again Gardaí are concerned for her well-being.
