Mixed weather over Bank Holiday Weekend

Temperatures ranging 15 to 18 degrees.

Friday will be dry across Ulster with good spells of sunshine, indicating a possible upswing in temperatures for the Bank Holiday, but forecasts are for a mix in conditions the further the weekend goes on.

Despite being cloudy, highest temperatures on Friday ranging from 15 to 18 degrees, according to national forecaster Met Eireann.

Tonight meanwhile will be dry with clear spells in most areas. Lowest temperatures of 4 to 7 degrees and light variable breezes.

Those temperatures will continue into Saturday, when Cavan take on Dublin on Saturday evening (7pm) at Kingspan Breffni- 15 to 18 degrees, coolest in the northwest of the province and warmest in the southeast.

However, the outlook beyond is it will turn cloudier on Sunday and on Monday expect light rain or drizzle at times as it becoming more unsettled through next week.
