Maura Brady

(née Tully)

Drumnagar House, Tullyco, Cootehill, Cavan, H16 YC61

Peacefully at her residence surrounded by her loving family, in her 90th year. Beloved wife of the late Cathal.

Predeceased by her parents, her twin brother Seamus and sister Margaret.

Much loved mother of Joe, Mary, Bernie and Carmel. Sadly missed by her son, daughters, sister Nancy (Shiels), brothers Anthony and Andrew, her adored grandchildren Aisling, Aidan, Kevin, Cian, Conor, Gene, Lorraine, Sean, Barry, Orla and Mark, great grandchildren, sons-in-law Philip, Mark and Donal, sisters-in laws, nephews, nieces, cousins, relatives and friends.

Rest in Peace

Reposing at her residence tomorrow Wednesday from 3pm until 9pm. Removal on Thursday to arrive at St. Brigid’s Church, Laragh for Funeral Mass at 12noon, followed by burial in the adjoining cemetery. Maura's Funeral Mass can be viewed live here.

Benny McCabe

Church View , Lanesboro, Longford / Kingscourt, Cavan

Benny, formerly of Moyar, Kingscourt, Co.Cavan 28th May 2024, peacefully at home surrounded by his family.

Pre-deceased by his son Miguel, his sister Eileen and brothers Charlie (U.K.) and Paddy (U.K.).

Benny will be sadly missed and remembered with love by his loving family, beloved wife Dolores, daughters Kathryn and Rebekah, grandchildren Belle, Jayde, Oren, Silas and Margot, great-grandchildren Locke and Athena, sisters Theresa, Rita, Kathleen and Philomena, brothers Jimmy, Johnny, Tommy and Frank, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

May he rest in peace.

Reposing at Glennon’s Funeral Home , Ballinalee Road (N39 EC81), on Thursday from 6.00pm concluding with prayers at 8.00pm. Removal from Kieran Bros. Funeral Home, Kingscourt on Friday to arrive for Mass of the Resurrection in the Church of the Immaculate Conception, Kingscourt at 10.00am, interment afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.

SR. Rita O'Hare F.M.S.A

Mount Oliver Convent, Dundalk, Louth, A91 TC21 / Butlersbridge, Cavan / Dublin

Peacefully in the loving care of the staff in St. Francis Nursing Home, Mount Oliver. Late of Hackelty, Butlersbridge, Co. Cavan & Dublin and formerly South Africa. Pre-deceased by her beloved parents, brother and sisters. Sr. Rita will be sadly missed by her nephews, nieces, extended O'Hare family, her Franciscan Community and a wide circle of friends near and far, and the many lives she touched with her kindness.

May She Rest In Peace

Sr. Rita's Funeral Mass will take place on Thursday morning at 11 o'clock in the Convent Chapel at Mount Oliver, followed by burial in the Community Cemetery.

(née Vaughan)

Sonas, Mullaghland, Mullagh, Cavan / Dun Laoghaire, Dublin

Peacefully, surrounded by her loving family, in the exceptional care of her children and the nurses and staff of Kilmainhamwood Private Nursing Home. Predeceased by her husband John and her daughter in law Angela. Deeply regretted and sadly missed by her family, Brian (Relabeg, Bailieborough), Christine (Brookville, Mullagh), Yvonne (Courtown, Wexford), Colin (An Cuinne, Mullagh) and Philip (Arklow, Wicklow), her Brother Malachy (Swords, Dublin), her adored 17 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren, son in law Dave, daughters in law Fiona and Dee, sister-in-law Deirdre, nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours and many friends.

May Kathleen Rest In Eternal Peace

Reposing tomorrow Wednesday from ​​​​5PM to 8PM at the home of her daughter and son in law Dave and Christine Martin, Brookville, Mullagh A82HW35. Requiem Funeral Mass on Thursday morning at 11AM in St. Kilian's Church, Mullagh, followed by interment in the adjoining cemetery.
