WHAT: Our Community Garden – Come and create an inclusive garden of colourful paper flowers and plants representing the national flowers of everyone in our community.
Free workshops for children aged 7-12 years. Children with additional needs welcome (children must be accompanied by an adult). This event is FREE; however, booking is essential as places are limited. 049 4335905.
'Jim's Day'
WHERE: Virginia Golf Club
WHEN: Saturday, May 25

Moth recording event
WHERE: Bear Essentials, Bawnboy, Co. Cavan (H14 N280)
WHEN: Sunday May 26 at 10am
WHAT: Green Sod Ireland moth recording event at Arderry. Co. Cavan Heather Bothwell will be looking at moths that were caught overnight on our land. Warm weather will mean a good number of moths , a cold night will attract very few. Wear appropriate clothing as the event should be outside, weather permitting. Moths are magical and mysterious. Recording these magnificent creatures is enjoyable and rewarding. Thank you to Cavan County Council for funding this event. To book: Email info@greensodireland.ie.
