Joe Rowley Windows & Doors is a family owned and operated business based in Kilnaleck.

Set up in 2007, Manager Joe has over 40 years’ experience working in the industry. He began his career manufacturing windows before eventually venturing into fittings.

“It’s what he’s worked with all his life,” said Ben, Joe’s son who works in the family business.

“You can say I’ve been at it all my life too,” Ben laughed.

The company offers a range of products including uPVC windows, tilt and turen windows, vertical and mock sliders, and flush casement windows. They also install composite doors, French doors, PVC doors, sliding patio doors, bi fold doors and stable doors.

Ben revealed that construction of their new showroom in Kilnaleck is underway and should be open to the public in late July or August. He said the showroom will allow people to come in and see their range of high spec doors and windows in different colours and designs, open and close them and test out the locks. The showroom will also give customers an opportunity to ask questions to specialists in the door and window sector.

“It will be nice for people to come into the comfort of a showroom,” Ben said, explaining that the new business venture will be located in Kilnaleck.

“The idea is that people can visualise what the product will be like on their house.”

Asked if they believed the company would have grown to what it is today, Ben responded: “Definitely not, it was Joe himself who started off with one van.”

“We’ve worked in Carlow, Kilkenny, Bray, Louth, Sligo, everywhere,” Ben said, explaining some recent job locations.

The family run business have a free quotation service. Customers can send plans and receive a quote via email or alternatively a team member can call to the house to measure the fittings.
